Vintage Toy Mall

Great vintage toy store, stopped in today.John knows his stuff, is very friendly and helpful.Selection is off the wall awesome, not only did they have what I'm looking for, but I found several other things other collectors are looking for as well, all at reasonable prices!! If your in the area, stop in you won't be disappointed! They also take requests and you can contact them via email, Facebook, or phone! Just a sample of stuff I saw: Gi Joe ( all sizes 60s to 2000's), Megos, Star Trek, Toy Biz, Kenner, Transformers, Shogun Warriors, Star Wars, Thundercats, Power Rangers, Super Powers!!!

I take antique toy collecting serious. I seen several items of interest behind locked cases. I ask the kid at the counter if he could unlock a few cases at different times. So he had to come out behind the counter to assist me. After the third time of striking out on the toys of interest, kid behind the counter made a snide remark, "Is there any other cases you would like me to unlock so you can look at things you are not going to buy?" WTF?!?! Passive aggressive much dude? My g/f was mad I didn't let her know about what he said. She wouldn't have patroned this place and bought toys for the kids. So don't ask to look at any toys that are locked behind cases, unless you are willing to roll the dice and purchase as is. Horrible experience!!!

Love to even just look around! They have such cool and neat stuff!! Great finds for anyone!

I give Vintage Toy Mall 4 stars with a caveat that the store is really polarizing - my friend loves this place and once came twice in the same day (5 stars from him). I'm not such a fan (3 stars for me). Vintage Toy Mall really has all its fandom bases covered; they have everything from the nerd pantheon (Marvel, DC, Stars Wars and Trek, LotR, TMNT, Transformers, and more), plus other, smaller fandoms (ex. Nightmare Before Christmas and TsumTsums). Between all of the vendors, there's a huge assortment of merchandise. The standard comics, shirts, posters, and action figures are all there. They also have less expected items, such as tin lunch pails, drinking glasses, and watches.Because there are many different vendors, pricing and item condition vary. My friend said some items were on par with online prices, but other prices were a little steep. All in all, if you love any combination of nerdy things and vintage toys, you will probably love Vintage Toy Mall.

Straight to the point. I visited for the first time yesterday and was staggered by the sheer amount of things available here. Do yourself a favor and skip the flea markets. You could spend days combing through the inventory from different vendors and not see everything. The bias against going to these places is usually "Amazon has it cheaper, or I can get a better deal on Ebay". And that's just not true of this place. This is all of those items from Ebay, but you don't have to pay shipping. Highly recommend for the avid collector and the hobbyist for myself.

Dark haired kid behind the counter was extremely rude to my wife. When she came in he was on the phone and had his feet up on the counter. He acted like it was a chore to talk to her. She came in to sell some merch and before even looking at any of it he told her he could only give her 30 bucks for all of it even though she had much much more in her car. This store used to guarantee 30% of max value for your items and now they wont even look at items before belting out a price. Not cool at all.I dont know who this guy is but hes rude and completely unprofessional and from other comments on here it seems to be an unchanged trend.

Do not shop here. The owner is a passive-aggressive bigot. The main store worker is often rude. Rolls his eyes, and sighs under his breath everytime you try to ask him a question. Unless your his friend then hell talk to you forever and ignore whomever is at the counter. They rip you off on trade ins and resells. They claim to give you 30% of value but will use every excuse not to. They dont know the value of what they sell/buy and often rate products low to rip you off more.The owner will make up a billion reasons for this but will often have products marked up more than 25% of their value, and im not even talking about vendor products. If it has an FOR tag on it, and is bagged/traded in, very rarely does the price match the value.They told everyone they changed management years ago, but its still the same jerk. There are better stores in tulsa than this place.

Beware! They will rip you off! I was charged twice!I Visited this toy mall with my kiddos and made a purchase. As we were getting into our car, the young man working the register came running out to tell me that my card didn't go through. I went back in and he "attempted" to re-run the transaction. He said that there were issues with the card reader and the charge failed again, I paid $54 in cash and left. Later that day I looked at my account and the charge did hit my bank. So I paid twice for my items! I have tried numerous times to contact the company to request a refund and I haven't gotten a call back. I went in a couple of times to be told the owner isn't in to assist. My bank cannot even get a reply from them and I was told by the bank that I was out of luck since I paid with cash the second time around and cannot "prove" I double paid. Won't be shopping here again. I will choose to spend my money at an honest business.
