Great place to take your pet! I highly recommend them. Super kind and professional staff. Always upfront about all costs and potential issues when dealing with any procedure. Good atmosphere and good people. I use them for all my vet needs.

Still no itemized bill from Village vet animal clinic. I have reached out and asked for them to send me a bill via email and received nothing. The office manager Michelle, said I cannot receive an itemized bill; until after I pay 490 some dollars. I just want to pick up my puppy's remains. This is already as heartbreaking as it comes. With them Killing my puppy after I requested to take him home the night before... and they wouldn't let me. They instead create a bill.. that they told me they were not charging me anything over 300.00! You do not leave a puppy that has had a blood transfusion.. especially with the stress of fireworks on the 4th of July.. after assuring me he was not alone and they had a staff member there with all the dogs, not just lucky! And then punish me because I called them out; by putting my puppy to sleep the next morning before 9:00 am.

My Dad took his dog in because their normal vet was closed. This place said he had a gum infection and prescribed antibiotics. Gave an estimate for pulling teeth of $700. My dad took his dog to his original vet when they opened because Howie was not getting better. They diagnosed him with severe kidney failure. Without even needing to do blood work. They had to put him down. So village vet was more worried about getting the $ then actually taking the time to do a thorough check on him. They took the easy and quickest way to get $. What the hell. That is wrong! If your a vet be there to care for the pet. And take the time to check over the pet. My dad took the antibiotics back and told the vet everything. And they just said sorry. What the hell? If they took the damn time to really check him out. They would of done something different. Because the meds were hard on his kidneys. This is a horrible vet. DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET HERE IF YOU THINK THERE COULD BE SOMETHING MORE SEVERE WITH YOUR PET!!!!!

I took my 6 year old snauzer there today and this is the worst job I ever had in grooming! He didn't smell groomed the butchered his face and it was uneven with his body and the cut was uneven all throughout. He didn't smell bathed once I smelled him and got him home. I also believe by his behavior that the groomer abused him. He was jumpy when we touched his face and it was shaved very closely and uneven. This has never since I have taken him to any groomer. This is my worst experience with a groomer. I called to share my experience and I still have not heard from the office trying to rectify this disappointing experience. I am extremely dissatisfied. I would not recommend for grooming at all. Terrible at grooming and I perceive by my dogs behavior he was hit in the face while groomed.

I love Village Vet! In fact, I live in Sapulpa and drive my animals all the way there. A couple of months back, my cat, Felix had a very large abscess and the staff took excellent care of him. He was in bad shape and they saved his life. I also love their hours. They are open later and more frequently than most vet clinics.

After reading a bunch of Googled reviews, I was weary about coming here. I had initially come a few years back because my rabbit broke his foot and the doctors were really nice. I was hoping service hadn't changed...My most recent visit was because I was afraid my rabbit had ear mites (but he didn't! Yay!). I called that day and they managed to squeeze me in. I had to wait almost half an hour before I was seen when I got to the office, though. The receptionist and assistant were nice. The vet was okay (based on my very brief, 5 minute visit with him).Needless to say, the job got done. Prices were eh, but you get a discount if you pay with cash.Inside, the place itself seemed kind of old and...dirty?

In the past, I've always taken all my pets to village vet. I moved back to Tulsa and re-established care for one of my elder cats. The visit started off great, I advised my concerns and after multiple costly test, my concern was confirmed and elder cat was officially diagnosed. I was advised we would have a glucose monitor attached (addl cost) and insulin to take home to monitor spikes. I called them back and advised we wanted to make the appt and the reception was confused about what I would be bringing out cat back in for. They could not decipher the notes. So I explained what the treatment plan was and they said they'd have to call me back. Called me back and said it was noted just a diet change and then I reminded them the vet advised the monitor placement. Had to call me back again. After some back and forth, they scheduled him for the monitor. The day the monitor was placed, I was advised how to use the monitor and that I would not be provided with insulin. So, I took my cat home and noticed the monitor had been previously used and already had numbers stored in it. This alters his averages. I monitored him for 3 days and it always read high(of course because he was not on insulin). I take him back in to have the monitor removed. Four days later I call because I had not heard back about his results. Of course the vet isn't there(she seems to never be in the office when I call). When she calls me back, she tells me the readings were too high to read. The crazy thing, that was the reason we were supposed to do the insulin at the same time. So, she goes over the treatment plan again and advises a pill treatment is an option but she needs to do more research but will put in the rx. Four days later, I had to call to find out why they hadn't put the rx in yet, they said the vet will have to call me back. She finally calls back and advises, for us to do the pill option, more test (addl cost) are required and I'll have to place the glucose monitor on him every two weeks(another addl cost) . So, I advised her I'm not waiting and or spending 4-500.00 more dollars just to "see" if the pill option works. Asked her to place the rx order for the regular insulin. I receive an email from the vendor, place an overnight order. Of course I do not receive it for 4 days. I finally receive the order and it does not come with needles. I contact the vet again, they were unaware that this vendor does not provide needles and that I will need to find those myself. This entire process took over a month and a half. Now, my cat has been insulin for 4 weeks and still is miserable and I've not heard anything else from this office since they told me to go find needles. So much money spent and wasted time. I will not be taking my cat back to their clinic.

I took my female dog in to get her fixed. She had a litter of pups in April 2023 so I wanted to get her in asap as I have a viable male at home and she was in heat. They charged me $352 for the spay alone. Rabies & vaccines another almost $400. The dr called me and went through a barrage of unnecessary commentary and had the absolute audacity to tell me I needed to clean my dogs genital area because it was dirty. I have never heard that before. He prattled on for a good 10 minutes. Needless to say I won't go back. His staff was very nice though.

Under no circumstances would I use Max Rust DVM for any type of veterinary service. IMHO the worst, most incompetent, and most insensitive vet I have been to in my life.

I'm going to be one of those people that says if I could I would give them zero stars. Both my mom and myself have had horrible experiences here. My first experience was with my previous cat who had a thyroid problem. We took her in after it started getting worse and a male vet told us there wasn't much we could do except put her on very expensive medication or even more expensive surgery. I was distraught, but understood there wasn't much to do. Fast forward a couple months and we take our dog in to another doctor. After briefly mentioning our poor kitty who had passed away, the vet looks at us funny and told us she could have put the cat on much more affordable medication and prolonged her life. This first doctor literally killed my cat. Why didn't the first doctor know about the medication? An experienced vet should know all the options available, particularly when it comes to life and death. Second experience was my mom taking in our dog. She had an appointment that morning and got there a bit early. The vet she had an appointment with came in and began talking to a walk-in about their snake. Finally they put my mom (and our dog) in a room, telling them the vet would be right in. It was AT LEAST forty minutes AFTER her scheduled appointment and the vet was still talking to the walk-ins who had no appointment. I'd understand if the snake was dying and needed emergency care, but it was fine. He was literally just talking to them about snakes while my mom waited for her SCHEDULED appointment. Every time I've called I've been put on hold for an extended period of time (annoyingly long) and I often have to repeat myself ten times. And my favorite story, THEY LITERALLY GAVE US THE WRONG DOG. We had taken our dog in for her grooming/teeth cleaning appointment. Normally they do a good job and are quick. We always put her collar with her ID tags on her when we take her to the vet (or anywhere). My dad went to pick her up (asked for her by name and described her) and thought she looked a little funny but figured she was still woozy from the medication used to knock her out for her teeth cleaning. After he got home, the dog almost ran away from him outside (which our dog never does) and was walking around the house whining. We suddenly realized this was not our dog. The dog had no collar or ID but when we called back they told us that Gracie (our dog) was still there and they had accidentally given us the wrong orange/red Pomeranian. First of all, why didn't they check the dog's collar/tags? There's literally no excuse for this. Second, what if the dog had gotten away from us and been lost? That's not our fault since we assumed we had our dog and she never runs away. We had no idea who this dog belonged to or its name.Overall this situation could have turned out a lot different and worse. I literally do not understand how you give someone the wrong dog, especially when said dog is wearing a collar. Protect your babies and run far away from this disaster.
