So this place also goes by "Lo Bahn Mi" on Google. You know it's good because it's a hole in the wall, mom and pop shop. The menu is limited, but there are several bahn mis available. I only ordered a drink here, but my friends got sandwiches and drinks. All bahn mis came out quick and fresh, they all enjoyed their sandwiches. Viet ice coffee was great! I got a passionfruit bubble drink and was pleasantly surprised that it came with popping boba, regular boba, jelly, and chia seeds. Yum!

Overall pretty good. I ordered the grilled pork sandwich... that was $6.35ish? I don't think it was pork... I feel like it was chicken lemongrass instead... still pretty good though. The bread could use some work.... No crisp to it at all. The bread itself was 3/5 but the meat and sauces bring it up to 4/5 overall. Also has the Vietnamese coffee... 3.5-4/5. Not too bad. I think this place is good for what it is and the location it's at. Not much competition it seems. I would come back if I wanted a Vietnamese sandwich in Tulsa.

Small shop but a hole in the wall place for bahn mi! Their sandwich is always good. The bread is perfectly crisp on the outside but soft on the inside. Very flavorful sandwich. More a Togo shop than a sit down restaurant.

My grandmother was adamant that I try this place because she was worried that I was missing the Vietnamese food and boba from my home town. So she called up the owner to make sure it was ready for us when we go there. I wasn't expecting much since my family in Tulsa always say that Tulsa Vietnamese food isn't as Houston Vietnamese food but it was pretty good! The bread was crispy and the filling were seasoned perfectly! Which is a big plus for me since alot of places make their meat or Pate extra salty to fit the American palate. Tip: If you don't want to eat it right away they can separate out the vegetables and the meat/bread so it won't be soggy! Plus you can toast the bread/meat so it can taste more fresh. Staff: The staff was really sweet and it felt like a proper mom and pop shop since they remembered their customers Ambiance: It felt like any normal Asian restaurant. There wasn't any flare but it was clean!

The number of stars stays the same, but my opinion of the place is different now that they've changed to new owners. my coworker says that the new owners are cousins with the old owners. And the new owners have recently moved here from Vietnam? The bread is much better now. The butter is more of a mayonnaise consistency; which I like. The service is absolutely terrible. The new owners are rude. I don't like the spicy peppers in my sandwich and they always put it in there.

This place is my go to for Banh Mi's. I love their sandwich selections and the fact that you buy 4 get 1 free. Their drink menu is extensive and everything is made fresh to order. The prep setup is in sync and the workers are quick to get your order up and out. This is a take out place they have no tables but do have seating as you wait. The baguettes are crunchy enough to where you can enjoy your sandwich without worrying about it scratching the inside of your mouth lol.

Well, I am going to have to vacuum out the car. What a mess.Ordering was a bit of a challenge. No English spoken here. After reading reviews from Vietnamese folks that had eaten here, claiming that this is the most delicious and authentic Bahn Mi in Oklahoma, my wife was convinced that the #1 sandwich was the top choice and the way to go. A number 1 Dac Biet, it shall be. It was instantly apparent that my Oklahoma version of the English language was not going to get me any food here. I held up one finger, then pointed to my wife and held up one finger again and pointed at myself. Next the drinks. After useless words back and forth between me and the very nice lady trying to understand me, the apparent solution was to just grab a couple of drinks from the cooler. I handed her my credit card she handed me my receipt with a charge for two drinks, and for only one sandwich. So, we did the dance again to get the second sandwich. Vietnamese food is not my favorite of the Asian cuisines. There are a few dishes I like. Overall, I rate it as just OK. Let's start there with a base line of OK or 3 stars. Now this was absolutely the best sandwich I had today! Add a star for that and we are at 4 stars. I have only eaten one other Bahn Mi in my life, that was at Lone Wolf in downtown Tulsa. I really didn't care for it. This was a much, much better sandwich. It would be very honest for me to say that this was the very best Bahn Mi I have ever had! Add a star. 5 stars!Ok all the BS aside. This is a small shop; take out only. We ate in the car. Communicating is a slight barrier if you are not fluent in the Vietnamese language, but you can work through it. If you are not into the bubble tea stuff, drinks are limited to bottled water and a small variety of sodas in the cooler. The sandwiches, are big fresh tasty sandwiches on fresh crusty French bread. And I do mean crusty; the proof is all over the seat and floor in my car. They are a hell of a great buy. I can't over emphasize, big, fresh, tasty sandwiches, loaded with meat and fresh vegetables, stuffed in crusty, fresh French bread for $5.85! That's what makes Viet Hot Bread special. Vietnamese food is still not my favorite, but this was a very good sandwich!

It's great. One of my go to spots when I want a quick bite or when craving a Banh Mi. They changed their bread in recent years but for the better, the bread is honestly what makes me like the sandwich even more, it's soft with a just enough crunch to it. I personally think it's what sets it apart from other Banh Mi sandwiches. Their bread used to be very very hard in their beginning years of open up. I would get bread crumbs all over my car seats cause it was so hard. Glad they made the change, everything else is great as well, all the meat options and drinks.

The sandwiches are all very good, our favorites are the grilled pork and their house special, I think it's the #1. the service is always good and fast and everything is fresh. if you buy 4 you get one free which is a great value. Unfortunately their is no seating so everything is to go, which is completely fine.
