My fiancé and I stumbled upon Veterinary Associates in a desperate attempt to figure out what was wrong with our brand new puppy, and the service we've had with every visit is exceptional! We have loved Dr. Hinton and value her expertise and advice as we learn how to be first-time puppy owners together. We are so thankful for how easy they make it to get help and explanations of what is going on!

We were charged $191 for our dog's ear infection. All they did was prescribe medication and didn't even put a dose in our dog's ear. We have found most of their prices extremely high compared to other offices we have used.

On November 11 , 2021, I called your after hour Emergency telephone number. I had a situation with my fur baby.My baby was in acute distress. She was whining, shaking and breathingextremely rapid. I Called your center.I received a pick-up of the call. I was told the doctor was on an emergency and was not available. But to hold on and a nurse would pick up.I waited and waited no one picked up. No one ever picked up. I hung up and called back. I called four times with the same results. I believe Lauren was on call that night. Lauren called me back the next day to follow-up with my concerns.Long story short. I was extremely upset of how my issues was handled.I'm in the medical field. I understand "emergencies, priorities, and trauma. The PROBLEM:VCA South referred me to you . I was never able to connect e we you. Since I was never able to connect with your facility or have the information to: go to your emergency room, I was left with no alternative.SOLUTION:The voicemail SHOULD have voiced that the information m/ "we are sorry we cannot pick up this call. We are extremely busy taking care of other emergencies. Please bring your fur animal to our emergency facility. We are here to take care of your needs.I was very upset with this entire situation. I called my VCA. I spoke with their office manager today. I explained my issue with this incident . I was advised to communicate the problem with the office manager.. I have been dealing with VCA from Florida, around the country and now Tulsa. I have always been extremely pleased with their service as very exceptional. I told them, this incident puts a negative effect, on their business, they refer your business for emergencies. If you are not able to provide a service, you should not be advertising as such.I hope you are able to heed this advise and improve the " so called"services you claim to provide.Sincerely,Dr Dale E Flenyol

Wow! This place rocks my dogs socks off. My dog loves Dr. Shane Murray. He has treated her heart worms and has recently spayed her. His love for animals shines through his personality and I can tell that he genuinely cares for my dog. He always calls to check up on her which I really like. The whole staff goes above and beyond to make us feel welcome. I would recommend Veterinary Associates to anyone in the Tulsa area.

I treat my Beagles like two more kids; they are loved and spoiled rotten. I had a wonderful vet in Houston so I was hesitant about finding a new one in Tulsa. No hesitation was needed as Veterinary Associates are on top of their game.First, the front desk gals are super friendly, both in person and on the phone. They greeted my dogs like they were old friends. Dr. Martin was a dream. So personable, explained what shots my dogs needed to stay up-to-date, and welcomed me to Tulsa with open arms (literally). Yes, they are a bit pricey but for the top notch care my dogs deserve, every penny is worth it. Wonderful facility and staff!

After my family's cat was diagnosed with chronic kidney disease following an emergency OVS visit, we took him back to his primary care vet (not this place) to figure out treatment options. When they said we'd be playing a guessing game on his treatment, we asked family and friends for a recommendation for a different vet; multiple people suggested veterinary associates. This place came highly recommended for good reason! We've been coming here for a full year now and thanks to Dr. Schultz's kidney cat expertise, our cat has returned to almost full health. He's back at his initial weight and has had no issues urinating. The staff here care deeply about our pets and we will not be going anywhere else for our pets care, current or future!

Good vets, good care. But......Extremely overpriced compared to other locations. Strongly do not recommend if you are bringing in a young pet for their initial care - you will be paying 2-3x more than other places. Save yourself the trouble and money and go elsewhere.

I have four beautiful cats. We've been patients of Veterinary Associates for a couple of years now. Our introductions were in emergency circumstances, as my sweet 5 month old kitten was very ill and almost didn't make it. They worked with us in every way, and you wouldn't believe the amazement of the staff when my sweet Katana made it through her illness. It took a lot of work, but it absolutely would not have happened if they hadn't been there, walking me through it, and helping us every step of the way. They truly made me feel their joy as we marveled together over her survival.Since then we've had a number of visits, and we are treated as family, not just numbers on a screen. Every visit is personal, and our cats are treated as beloved members of the family as well. I am forever grateful to this group of people, and their commitment to the welfare of our animals. Bless every one of you.
