I recently decided to make TU my home and college of choice. I was on the fence when I arrived for the prospective students preview but after being on campus for 5 minutes I knew I wanted to go here. The staff and students all make you feel welcome, appreciated and at home. I haven't' started classes yet but the registration process was a snap, all thanks the the personal attention I received. I know I'm not just a number at TU but an individual. All of the staff I have had to deal with know who I am, my situation and are eager to help with whatever questions I have. If you're thinking of becoming a student here, just stop by for a visit. It really is an amazing campus and it's filled with some of the friendliest people I have ever met.I will update my review after I have finished my first Semester at TU with impressions and experience.

I went to visit campus during the evening hours. It's a small school but the place is beautiful. Looks lie a wonderful walking campus. Also, not sure what the bell is for, but I went up and gave it a ring. Also looked at the stadium, small but well placed on campus and I have to believe its a blast to attend games there.

This review is not about the University of Tulsa as a school. This review is about my main interaction with the University of Tulsa: the volleyball courts. For some odd reason, "The sand volleyball courts at TU" is not a business on Yelp. My friends and I frequent the sand courts often. They're rarely occupied, they have great nets, a plethora of parking, and they're close to my stomping grounds. During intense games of volleyball, we try not to hit the ball over the fence onto 11th street or break anything when dramatically diving into the sand. One great summertime feature of the courts is the watering function. Summer is sunny. The sun is hot. The sun makes the sand hot. Hot sand does not feel good on your feet. But you can turn on the sprinkler and "water" the sand to cool it down. The only reason the TU sand volleyball courts do not get a 5 star review is because the sprinklers fail to water the whole court so depending on which side your team resides, you may be jumping around to avoid scalding your toes. so if you're looking for hours of free fun on a college campus, head to the TU volleyball courts. * Requires you bring your own volleyball Ok, one thing about the actual University:What really gets my goat about the University of Tulsa is that it is affectionately monikered "TU". Why is "University of Tulsa" changed to "TU"?? Is this a translation issue like how the USA in French is "Aux Etats Unis (EU)" and the European Union is l'union europeen (ue)?? I may never know!

A great small, private university in the second largest city in Oklahoma. TU is really undergoing a large remodel right now, which is going to make it an even better place to learn. A new music building will open Fall 2011, two new engineering buildings are being built as well, allowing the infrastructure to keep up with current and future needs. Overall, TU is a great place to be.

Beautiful campus located close to Downtown Tulsa. There are gorgeous buildings and open green spaces. It's really quite lovely.
