The food is good. The service is awesome and they have adult slushies. It's a bit out of the way by car but by boat is a across the lake. Come and see for your self. You can get a coals float with a shot of whatever you like. Good atmosphere and family friendly.

Been coming to this place since the mid 90's, I just had the cheese burger today it was horrible! Must have been a frozen patty, gross! We had about 15 people in our party, they all were very disappointed, so long Uglys....

Service was so slow in the restaurant, we had to track down people to order food and drinks. Food was decent for half the table. When leaving we stopped by the marina store for some medicine, stood at the register for awhile, asked an employee walking through if there was anyone working the register, and instead of helping out she literally told us that the girl was making milkshakes and we needed to "hush" then stomped to the bathroom -WOW!!!-. Awesome customer service Ugly's, you should be so proud!

Hit and miss here! Don't waste your gas unless you ck and double ck their hours!Service has always sucked and the place is filthy! But..,it is on the water, burgers are good and reasonable...if you can get them!

When this place is busy, it's busy. There isn't many reviews on this place but let this Elite share his views and experience. Key note: Management has to do a better job in maintaining their staff. Talking with locals, this place is commonly under staff. Sum it up,if you are hungry or have time constraints don't go to this place. On my visit to Ugly's there was 1 waitress and 1 bartender running the whole place. From the moment we sat down, it took 20 minutes to place an order and another 45-1hr for the food to arrive, 15 minutes to get the bill and another 10-15 minutes to pay.Beside the lack of service, the view is nice. Lake side property.

The food is great & the service is always excellent. The menu selection is great and have just about something for everyone. The pulled pork nachos are my husbands favorite as well as the tacos. The loaded Ugly Fries are the bomb and a must try when you're here! There is live entertainment on most Friday & Saturday's which is always makes for a great time! Drinks are great, and they do have great beer selection also. The Wild Thang is another must try if you're looking for a Grand Lake libation!

If you're at Grand Lake, this is a must! The view is to die for, and if you look down from the deck, you'll see HUGE catfish and turtles! The food was wonderful and they have creative mixed drinks. Great for the whole family!

We had a table of 6. Our service was wonderful and quick. I had the fish basket with French fries and my son and I devoured it. The fried pickles are awesome too. The location was unreal! A deck over the water with loads of wildlife around. I can't believe the other reviews. This place is by far the best we have found anywhere close.

This place sucks! After they renovated the interior they cheapened the menu! The "loaded chicken fries" are just chicken with cheese and they won't serve free tap water... illegal. They need to rethink their business approach.. Service is great though

Proceed with caution... food poisoning rampant. Went to ugly Johns over this rainy, flooded memorial weekend. We've been going for years, has a great atmosphere but often have over look terrible service. After sending my tacos back for several reasons including leaving the plastic clip for a bag in a taco... also the fish was undercooked. I shared the remaining quesadillas with my wife which had been served noticeably cold and without any sort of toppings. They did remove the tacos from our order. After leaving my wife, young kids and mother in law went to the bathrooms behind the restaurant.... where they had no soap, no toilet paper, and all toilets backed up due to people using paper towels and flushing them... then came the sickness from hell: my wife and I had ALL of the symptoms of food poisoning, which we fought while packing the family up and making a 3 hour commute home, stopping on the side of the highway to deal with MORE symptoms. All of this followed by hours of sleep and recovery. Go for a beer, maybe but I recommend to pass on food. I never post anything, ever, but am hoping the owners take steps to be responsible owners.
