Turkish delight is a food truck that is open most Saturdays and Sundays - follow their IG to know the days and hours they're open @turkishdelightokc The service is amazing, the owner is so kind and makes everything herself! We had the doner and Iskender meals and they were both sooo good - soft deliciously seasoned meat. Highly recommend this food truck!

So I've been stalking-er ummm.... following this food trucks Facebook for a while. When you find a business with pretty much perfect ratings and only a couple reviews you kind of look at it cross, am I right? Well, now I'm certain those other couple reviews aren't friends or family. When I ordered the woman at the window told me I'd have to wait a bit because they make it fresh (no complaints here!). The "wait" the woman spoke of was hardly anything, they were very quick! I had the Doner Sandwich (pictured) & you could taste the difference in every bite of nothing being prepped. The meat was seasoned well, the veggies crisp and the gyro bread nice and fluffy. I will definitely hit this truck up again in the future.

OKC's food scene keeps getting better and better. With delicious, flavorful food and the nicest staff roaming around in their little maroon food truck, the addition of Turkish Delight proves just that. While still pretty new to the scene, the food is GOOD. The part they are most proud of is that everything is fresh and homemade- nothing is bought frozen or from the restaurant depot- like those big rotating gyros all over town at various Mediterranean restaurants. Except for one item (pita bread for doner sandwiches), all of their other items are seasoned and made in-house from scratch, like pistachio baklava, soups, breads, and marinated meats. A couple of my favorites:- Baklava- they normally have pistachio and pecan. Normally baklava in Greek restaurants creeps me out because it tastes like a lot of places try to save money by using oils instead of butter, but you don't get that at all here. Instead of using honey for the syrup, Turkish Delight makes their own syrup from scratch for a lighter taste. - Chicken tava- CHEESY chicken stew with buttered rice and homemade bread! Definitely get this spicy. It's perfect with a little kick. - Lamahcun- Turkish pizza! I've had this in Houston before, and this is the best Turkish pizza I've ever had. Really flavorful and fresh, and trust me- just go with the parsley and onions. It's just RIGHT that way, even if you normally don't like either. These guys roam around on Tinker AFB a lot but can also be found at monthly events and Bleu Garten. Give it a shot if you are looking for something authentic and a little different. It won't disappoint!

This is THE only Turkish food in OKC that I'm aware of. Sevim the owner does it right!!! I only wish there were more of the trucks to go around!! Having lived in Turkey for more than a decade, I can tell you, you don't get more authentic than Turkish Delight!!
