We came here while on vacation. What a fantastically unique experience. I've never done glass blowing which in itself was super cool and educational and allowed me to get in touch with my creative side. The educators were very involved, knowledgeable and enthusiastic about glass blowing. Each of the people in my party did a different piece to commemorate our trip, for $35 each which was reasonable for 2 hours of entertainment. The organization also supports veterans programs, specifically those suffering with PTSD. This would be a fun experience for teens, young adults and grown ups alike. Highly recommend!

Make sure you check out this place during First Fridays, specially during the winter months. It's a great place to learn something while you warm up.Glass-blowing demonstrations are done for First Fridays which are always informative and amazing. I don't know what it is about this artistic endeavor that intrigues me but there is lots to see here. The gift shop is perfect for holiday shopping. The school also gives classes which is definitely on my bucket list.

Looking for something a little bit less traditional than the movies or mall? Check out the Tulsa Glassblowing School for a few hours and learn more about the art of glass! As a chemical engineer by education, I find glass blowing fascinating. All of the chemical changes going on at the molecular level ......check out a wikipedia article on the history of glassblowing and you'll be amazed. Now back to the Tulsa Glassblowing School... I attended the school with a group of about 20 other people as part of a group / team event through work. There were three furnaces that contain the glass. Each individual was given the opportunity to make a small piece (I chose a flower), and there was a waiting area where the others would watch an individual go through the process of making a glass structure with the assistance of an employee. The entire process to make a small glass structure lasts about 10 minutes, and it's fun to do and watch. It's a simple process and one that everyone can enjoy. The glass structures that are made take about one day to cool off and harden after the process. The flower that I made that day now sits on my office desk back home. We didn't actually get the opportunity to "blow" and add air to the glass -- I'm assuming this is more of an advanced class, but nevertheless, the Glassblowing school is a fun insight into a very old world of art. If you're up for doing something a little different, I recommend you check out the school in downtown Tulsa.

This is such a fun activity for a date, friends, or family. The staff is super friendly and informative, and they help you create glass art of your choice. There is also a veteran's program available. This is a great activity for a weekend morning or afternoon. Definitely recommend and will be back!!Note: you do have to leave your art to let cool and pick up at a later date so be mindful of that in your scheduling.

My kids enjoyed a glass blowing class. They didn't actually blow glass but sculpted a glass flower. The people were very nice and knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. I'm sure we'll be back to make something else in the future.
