The McKeon center for creativity hosts free introductory workshops for adults in a variety of creative endeavors. I have attended a few different ones and they have been fun and informative. Also, you get to take home whatever you create. Check it out!

I attended this college back in 1996-99 before I transferred to The University Of Tulsa. For three years, my life was this school and I had a great time. I made fantastic grades, held a job at The TCC Connection, and was a member of many organizations.I decided to return to this college to study Strategic Communications and wow, this school has changed! It has become much more high tech than when I went in the dark ages. Gone is the open foyer that led to nowhere. Now it leads to the enrollment, bursar, student advising, and financial aid offices. The college offers a fitness center which is very convenient to students. The student life area now houses the student government office and fuel pantry, where students can pick up staples on select days. The Metro now houses the Thomas McKeon Center for Creativity which is where the TCC Connection is located on the 3rd floor. It's also where much of the broadcasting and radio production is housed. The student podcast, The Grid is located in that facility.I recommend the Metro Campus particularly if you are studying nursing or are in Communications. It's a great college in the heart of downtown Tulsa.

I think TCC is a great way for people to get a good education for a cheaper price than the bigger name universities. I've taken classes here as an undergrad when I was back in Tulsa for the summer and post grad when I needed to fulfill missing prereqs for grad school. They also have a ton of class times (like at night and on the weekends!! - perfect for working adults). Even though there may be a stigma attached to "community colleges," I feel like I received a good education in all the classes I've taken. All of the professors I've had really seemed to care about the students.Even though this location is downtown, there's a private parking lot, so you won't have to worry about parking. There's also a gym at this location with a small indoor track, the usual weight machines, and cardio machines. There are also free fitness classes!

So I attend this college and work for The Connection (the school newspaper). I am really glad that I can attend classes and obtain my associate's degree for a reasonable price. Most of the instructors I have encountered seem to be knowledgable. Overall, I have had a great experience so far. Because I am double majoring, it will take me a bit longer than two years.

I've had ups and downs while going here but overall it's average. The campus's make up one large college and has a good nurse program. the cafeteria's are a joke and pricey (it's cheaper to go out to a fast foot restaurant). 1/3 of the teachers are completely clueless of what they're teaching. The Online version of TCC is iffy, the teachers are utterly useless, and harsh on grades (I averaged an 89.3 in a class and they gave me a B for the course grade). The instructors on campus will go out of their way to help you. The campus is clean and professional. It's not expensive unless your from out of state. The only professor of note is Edward Ulrich. He is a biased prick who only likes english papers his way and will quickly give you a poor grade if it's not. He hates creativity and insight. He wants tons of fluff in the paper but less than 2-pages and full of information....?......Exactly....... Even the tutors had NO idea of what this guy was talking about. They were completely lost on how to instruct me. He is the ONLY instructor (and I use this term loosely) to give me a C-. Otherwise I only make B+ in any other course.

We attended the graduation on December 11, 2023. While we appreciate the inclusiveness within the ceremony, it was very hard to understand the names being read (the second announcer on the left side facing the audience). We didn't even recognize our family member's name. So disappointing.
