Tulsa Ballet Theatre

The Tulsa ballet is a wonderful local organization filled with talented dancers, choreographers, performers, technical people and support people that keep this creative group running.

I've traveled the world and never felt more engrossed in the performances than at this theater. Thoughtfully constructed, the stage space is the exact same dimensions as the audience space. This translates to an intimate setting, not a bad seat in the house, and a proximity that lets you see just how hard these dancers are working.

Tulsa Ballet puts on a wonderful performance, and the dancers are just amazing at what they do. They have classes in the summer, and during the year. The instructors here are wonderful and push you to be yourself. Their facility is beautiful and their faculty is always there to help and they have stationed water fountains throughout the school.

What a marvelous rendition of "Cinderella" by Tulsa Ballet this weekend! The performance is sharp, fun & nearly flawless in execution. Ok, so the priest lost his hat. Cinderella, performed by Youhee Son, is graceful; the Prince, Hyonjun Rhee, is royal and the stepsisters, Dallas Blagg & Johnnathan Ramirez Mejia are truly hilarious!If you're a ballet lover, or even if you're not, Cinderella is a must see! Tulsa's PAC.

Sleeping Beauty-This was my first time to attend a professional ballet, and I am so grateful for the experience! I took my daughter and she had a blast. We loved the music, which was performed by the Tulsa symphony. The story was played out so well by each performer. The costumes were elaborate and beautiful. The backdrops were gorgeous and fitting for each scene, the lighting was on point with what was happening as well. This performance, had romance, humor, and a little bit of suspense. It had it all. The dancers were of such an impressive caliber. Each of them had their own time to wow the audience with their talent. The main characters were amazing. The control and agility of sleeping beauty was out of this world. Overall I was blown away by the talent of these performers and I enjoyed every minute of it!

Tulsa ballet is incredible! We really have a gem. This company tours and is well respected all over the world! The shows are top notch. I have seen several pieces from the Tulsa Ballet and I have loved every piece.

My daughter attends the Tulsa Ballet Center for Dance education. This is her seventh year there and I am very happy with her progress. Currently she is in the 2nd division of Pre-professional. I am so proud of her!ok, enough bragging. I think what sets this school apart from the rest is they are very traditional and stick to rules and expectations. They also pay attention and encourage a healthy lifestyle within learning the craft. They recently added TBCD II, which is a ballet company for the professional dancers to start their career and have a better chance for them to be able to join a company in their desired location. What a great tool for dancers. Everyone that works for this non-profit organization is very kind. They also hold auditions every year for the Nutcracker and other performances for the younger dancers to be involved in the performance arts held on the big stage at the Tulsa Performing Arts center. All classes hold an end of year performance at the end of May each year.

Are there more stars that I can give DRACULA? Literally, one of the best experiences I've had in the theatre. (And I've had a LOT.) It was in a word, GORGEOUS.
