Very large market with fresh fish & just about everything else you may need for Asian/Vietnamese etc.. food. I've gotten some great stuff here but at the same time I've seen some issues with their frozen food section being badly freezer burned, as well as the strong fish smell when you walk in the door. Thankful this is here but there is also another one down the street that I prefer.

I'm surprised this place hasn't been check my health department. I was passing through town and want to check out Asian market. It's not a bad size Asian Market. Most of the stuffs are cheaper than other Asian store I visited. Fresh food section need serious inspection; frozen fish that has bad color after thaw or not so fresh meat section. Just to be safe buy dry stuff from here.

Troung Son is the biggest asian grocery store in Fort Smith. This place has a great selection of fresh greens(vegetables and herbs), seafood, meats, locally made goods, and other dry asian products. They get new goods weekly, sometimes surprises. My mother always calls in an order of groceries then I'd go and pick them up, one time the sweet lady also packed me a yummy bag of the Bataysol Pastry. Oh. My. Gosh. Probably one of my favorite things ever. After taking it home then toasting it for 5 minutes under 300 degrees the outside was flaky like a croissant, and the inside was filled with grounded pork and spices.Another great thing about this place is the fresh selection of herbs and vegetables + their pricing. If you're ever in need of a big bundle of basil/dill/coriander/cilantro/green onions/chives this would probably be the best place to get them. The seafood section often carries a supply of fresh craw fish, blue crabs, and some shell fish. (They're alive, you take them home and cook) One of my recent discoveries was how to prepare and eat escargot. Delish. Raw fish sauce + lime juice + grounded lemon grass + garlic.Edit: I forgot about fruits. They often carry frozen durian, mangos, sour sop, fuji apples, big grape fruits and other yum yums.

Being there aren't many Asian markets, I'm giving this place 4 stars instead of 2 or 3. They haave a decent selection of items and offer an okay amount of variety. They have a meat and seafood section, which is great. I would definitely stay away from the frozen section. Most of the stuff in there looks to be past it's prime.

I had a hard time finding stuff but overall a great place, very friendly people. Yeah the smells are kind of strong but it doesn't bother me. I think the checkout lady tried to overcharge me for squid but I remembered I'm into findom so she was really doing me a favor. A+++ can't wait to go again!

This place is DISGUSTING. Old Fish that's floating in Water with cloudy Eyes. That right there tells you their Fish is NOT Fresh. My wife is Asian, and we travel to Oklahoma City to stock up on her Ethnic Foods from hher Country.

This is the largest oriental store in Fort Smith, AR, to my knowledge. Have been buying sushi ingredients and many other products in the region since the early 1980's. In recent years, this has been the best source for oriental foods that I've found. A very large selection from many different "oriental" sources--far more than this non-oriental consumer can begin to catalog or explain. However, the staff has always been very helpful and the selection is incredible. Highly recommend this store.

This is the most horrible asian market I have ever been in. The smell of the rotten fish knocks you over as soon as you walk in the door. It is a large store but it is not well orghanized and no one speeks English or at least tries to help you. The meat counter has discolored meat but it is so smelly of rotten fish that you cant tell if it is the meat or fish you are smelling. The health department needs to shut it down.

Reason I gave this a one star is, This store Little over priced, Dirty Floors and if your'e buying bulk or single check the expiration date on them. they are known for selling expired products! Their So called little deli the food is horrible been out for few days and trying to sell them like their sesame balls and fried bananas. The cashiers are really rude they dont even give you a greeting or thank you! Most of the time I usually wait 10-15 in line just to check out! its horrible I no longer use their service
