While in Claremore visiting family, we were searching for Asian restaurants and discovered Tokyo Japanese Steak House & Sushi Bar! The restaurant ambiance was quaint and dark, the food was served in a timely manner and tasted great, and our server was pleasant and attentive! We enjoyed our dining experience, but felt the food prices were slightly high and the menus were in need of cleaning. We ordered 2 hibachi dinners, a salmon poke bowl, and a side of edamame. Our total bill was approximately one hundred dollars plus tip. Overall, it's a nice place to go and I would return.

Very good sushi! Service is very good too. The restaurant is always clean. Nice place to eat.

Happened to be in Claremore on an errand not to far from Tokyo so I decided to drop in and give them a try.As good as all the sushi sounded (and looked from the pictures posted) I instead opted to give the beef udon a try.I also opted for some crab rangoon apps, which were quite good.The udon was spectacular. The beef was tender and plentiful, and the related ingredients were well proportioned. What most impressed me about the dish was the perfectly executed sauce. Lots of places get heavy handed with the sauce, or in some cases, think that a flood of oyster sauce is good enough. Not so in this case. The sauce was just enough to enhance the dish overall without overdoing it.If their udon is this good, I gotta come back and try the sushi and other items.

Good local place! I love the dark atmosphere inside the restaurant, the service was perfect, and the food was pretty good!

Service is great and food is always delicious!! The problem is I want to try everything so we keep having to go back!

This Japanese restaurant is a jewel for our wonderful community. They have been maintaining their quality and good service for several years. Lily is simply wonderful in her attention and care of her customers, something that is transferred to the team and we feel w in each of our dishes. For locals or visitors, Tokyo in Claremore, OK is a great option for lunch or dinner.

I think the owners have changed, this is now just ok. I won't be back, too expensive, bland soup, bland dressing, greasy fried food. No thanks.

This is usually our go to place for not only a relaxing place, but also for special occasions. My son gets us a gift card to here sometimes because he knows how much we enjoy it there. Quiet and comfortable with great wait staff. The food is always fresh and the few times that I have ordered the sushi, it too is fresh and prepared as it should be. Large sushi menu. Add a cold beer or wine and you're all set. We'll be back there soon I'm sure. Enjoy!

Good food, service was somewhat good, good ambiance, however, the food was not as good as the prices would make you think. Too expensive!

The food is reasonable and consistently pretty good. I've never had bad service here. The place feels clean. A great spot for lunch.
