Downtown Claremore has several thrift stores and vintage malls. These couple of blocks cater to the tourists driving Route 66. Especially the vintage malls. The prices at Thrift Harbor are on the higher side as thrift stores go, but all thrift stores are marking merchandise up more than years ago. You might find a bargain if you look closely. Thrift Harbor has the typical thrift store assortment. Clothing, shoes, home goods, toys and a few collectibles. This thrift store is fairly large compared to some of the other ones in town. There is street parking in front of the store.

We are from out of town. My grandmother drove all the way there for them to be closed. We called several times before 5 and they wouldn't answer their phones. Had they answered we would have known they changed their hours. Online it says you are open until 7 on Thursday's. Please change your hours. We wasted our day.

I've shopped Thrift Harbor three times and every single visit made me like this store better. I find great housewares and clothing here and prices are very affordable. This is easily among the best organized thrift stores I've visited, especially their bedding/linens area (remarkably well labeled and neat). On my most recent visit, I scored a great summer top, warm and cute fleece jacket, and Miss Piggy's Guide to Life. You just never know what you may find here, and isn't that the best part of thrift shopping? It's located in downtown Claremore and I've always found parking to be pretty easy.

The store is nice, but the manager that was there in Sat. Sept 28th was so very unprofessional!! They had a sign in the window for 50% off clothing, I picked out a pair of overalls for my son and when I got to the counter they wanted to charge me full price. They called the manager a surly elderly woman to the counter who said "oh thats not included" take it leave it". I tried to tell her that coveralls are considered clothing and if not they should have put "all clothing except coveralls" I paid for my items and wheeled the cart to the area where the carts are by the door and she came around the counter and jerked the basket out of my hand and start throwing my bags at me hitting me in the face with a bag that has shoes and 2 muffin pans in it.saying "you're not taking my cart out!" Which I had no intention of doing! I was already taking my bags out of it. I just had surgery on my mouth on Friday and the bag she threw at me really hurt! I had to call the police on her for assaulting me! Needless to say i will never go back! So BEWARE OF THE MANAGEMENT AT THRIFT HARBOR, and the FALSE ADVERTISIZING, that's the sign they should post.
