Thomas Restaurant in Pryor, OK has been around since 1952. As a teen ager, It was a regular stop for me and my uncle on our frequent summer trips to his property on Grand Lake. It had been decades since I ate there, but my wife and I were in Pryor last Saturday and started driving the main strip looking for lunch. To my surprise, Thomas is still in business. It is a small town Oklahoma place to eat, serving up comfort food in a clean envirnoment.I had the chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes, cream gravey , fried okra, and dinner roll. It was a good lunch, no complaints.Jan had liver and onions. That's a dish you won't find on many menu's. She had green beans and fried okra as sides. The liver was tough. The green beans and okra were excellent.The service was good. The prices moderate.

If you're just passing through or nearby and wanting a good breakfast, this is your place. The service was fast, friendly and affordable!

Easily some of the best food in town. The huevos con chorizo (pictured) is my go-to, but I've never had a bad meal coming from Thomas'! The service today was fantastic! Our server was consistent, kind, and thorough. The restaurant is always clean and the staff is always a pleasure

The food is awesome, with variety of options. Personally; i get the brunch burger or the number 2. The brunch burger is how you would picture it , eggs, burger, cheese, bacon (etc.) the list goes on and on

Everything just okay. Virtually all of the food we had, BLT with french fries and chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and a dinner roll, was pre-fab frozen from some commercial food supply company. Not worth the price. Won't be back.

Food was good and service was fantastic. This is a home town diner with tons of menu options. The prices are very reasonable. The only issue is there are no window shades on the front windows. Be prepared to squint!

Stopped in for breakfast. Eggs, grits, sausage, and toast cooked promptly and plenty of coffee refills. Good solid place to stop and eat and stretch your legs on traveling on highway 69. Friendly staff....

My lemon Parmesan chicken was DELICIOUS!! The broccoli was too well done for me and I didn't care for the potatoes but the roll was good. My husband's hamburger steak was a bit dry but better with some brown gravy. Fries, pinto beans and roll were good. We don't generally get dessert but the homemade pies looked fabulous... my husband chose the chocolate pie and I tried the coconut cream pie. I REALLY liked his chocolate pie, it wasn't a pudding like most are! The coconut cream was ok. Service was ok. Nice people. Clean place. Restroom was clean too.

This food is amazing! Especially the guacamole! We couldn't get enough! My great Aunt use to own this place years ago.

Variety of menu choices, large servings. One of the few places open for a late supper while on a road trip. Fish and shrimp had good breading and fried perfectly, tasted fresh. Philly steak sandwich was tasty. I'm thinking they use the fajita meat for this and same bread as their tortas. Prices are very reasonable. Can even get a cup of soup for 2.50 if you just need a little bite to eat. Will definitely try some other menu items when we are in the area again!
