The Silver Spur Restaurant

Three words kids......chicken fried steak! My wife and I went there and had the City Slicker breakfast - hers was fried eggs, mine was scrambled. Breakfast was served with a generous portion of chicken fried steak (cooked to utter perfection I might add), perfectly cooked hash browns, and biscuits and gravy. Service was spot-on, and definitely interested in trying their lunch and dinners.

Husband's Philly cheesesteak appeared to be made with ground beef. Fries were from frozen. My French dip was ok. Not good enough to return.

Nice breakfast spot with bloody Mary's. The breakfast burrito was a perfect lite breakfast. I'd order a side of hash browns in future.

Very good food and friendly service in a cozy atmosphere. We had burgers and they were excellent. We're anxious to try them for breakfast. Definitely recommend!

The brisket loaded fries are awesome so smoky and delicious. I really liked the sour cream drizzled on top nice addition. I've also enjoyed the burgers and this is always a must stop when I'm in the Pineville/Jane area!

Good service, good atmosphere. Food was good, pretty straight forward menu, nothing fancy but good serving size and taste.

Yelp popped up as notification on Silver Spur - reading thru some reviews decided to contribute my opinion because have eaten there many times. This is a local (rural definition) 'down home cooking' breakfast lunch dinner gem that provides consistently friendly service and good food. It's not gourmet (go to nearby Haven 55 for that) but a well done 'Diner'. In September had 18 in our party - called few days ahead to let them know we were coming and they delivered flawlessly! Family friendly, seasonal guests welcomed - highly recommend this restaurant.

The food was simple but homemade and excellent.Fast service with a smile. Fair prices.Will return for sure!

Fantastic little restaurant with great food. By far the best Reuben I've had in years. add mushrooms instead of fries with the horseradish/ apricot jam and it's over the top! Loved the liver and onions, have also had a burger and mashed potatoes that just melted in your mouth. Time before last, I had the Prime Rib which was excellent!

We are in town, for a float trip. There are 10 of us. We came in, for dinner, at a pretty busy time. We were seated very quickly. Served right away. Two of us have severe food allergies. Upon notifying our server, she and the kitchen, went above and beyond, to accommodate us. The food was delicious but the service really stood out. Having a large party is already a challenge, but with the added food allergens, I know it's really a huge hassle. Not once did we feel like the server (or kitchen) felt it was a hassle. They were incredibly considerate and mindful. Awesome experience. Would definitely visit again, if we come back through town!
