First time here, had our benefit here for veterans here and its kewl spot. The staff is engaging, prompt to get your drinks even though it's busy. Nice stage for bands to play, clean restrooms and a kewl patio to get some fresh air if needed. Check this place out.

Saturday night I went to the Shrine for the first time. It has that dive bar feel, but not tacky or trashy. Maybe I would describe it as an upscale dive bar. Which seems strange, but it's the best I can use to describe it. I liked it a lot.But I digress. The band playing Saturday was Let's Zeppelin, obviously a Led Zeppelin tribute band. The band was great! They even dressed the part. "Robert Plant" was wearing white platform shoes with goldfish in the heels. So, if this is the calibre of entertainment the Venue books, I will certainly be back. It was a great time. The bartenders were fast, courteous, and efficient. The beer was cold. Very cold. So, if you are looking for a comfortable dive bar with great entertainment, the Venue is the place!

Saw the Schwag do a Grateful Dead show here. Great space. Seems small from the outside but has plenty of space to sit or dance. Nice bartenders and staff.

Modern DesignGood LayoutEfficient ParkingGood Sound/LightingI was a little annoyed about the lack of web presence this establishment has, but a waiter told me that they had only been open for about a month and that it had replaced a nightclub that was nothing but a meat market. They remodeled, built a stage for bands and put some local art on the walls, not bad.It seems they lack marketing skills because the band we came to see, Gooding, typically has a large following and even the guy across the street didn't even know they were playing that night. There was about 75 people, mostly locals. The band that played before Gooding was a young band named "Bruce Flea" which was really good and even better since they were seniors in high school. They lacked a liquor selection, but had the basics and even a few top shelves available. They cited the city as a hurdle to this issue, but not sure how that affects selection. Bar tender was cool and the prices were very affordable. Sound and lighting was really good. The stage was high enough so that the whole band could be seen from anywhere in the room, which I always appreciate.I think Afroman played there the week before. He still tours?

I've been here a few times, it's ok. nothing spectacular about it but they do have a venue that brings nice shows from time to time, especially for locals. there's not much to say about this place.

Very rude service. At a concert held at the shrine, underage people were there. Security and staff were extremely rude to younger patrons. Don't go here I repeat do not go here they have awful service

Great dive bar! Great space for an event! Had a meet and grey with the Roughneck soccer team. The bar was very easy to work with and the space was perfect! We had a few hundred people and people weren't on top of each other. They have a huge stage so I can see the space being a perfect weekend music venue.

I've only been once and it wasn't for a concert. I liked the space and location. $4 for a Bud Lite was kinda pricey but I was able to order quickly. $10 minimum to use your card is a big drawl back.
