The Perk

I had the Reuben with kale salad and it was incredible. The Reuben had plenty of meat and wasn't drowning in thousand island dressing. It was super good. The dressing on the kale salad is delightful! My wife had the kale salad as well with the soup of the day (tomato). Her soup was delicious. The service is great. All the workers are friendly and we were welcomed in with a smile. This helps with the overall atmosphere of The Perk. It's clean and sharp. Very relaxing overall. Would come back again.

It's been a while since I've been in town to try the Perk. I'm really impressed and satisfied with their new menu options like avocado toast, boba, and the chicken cordon bleu sandwich. They have fun seasonal drinks as always, we enjoyed the Grave Digger and the matcha Monster Mash. The feta cranberry salad is still my favorite item, it hasn't changed over the years at all. This trip I got to enjoy a new local artist gallery on display in the group room. The barista, MacKenzie (blonde and glasses) served me both times I stopped through and was very professional and kind. Can't wait to be back again and enjoy both the new and old touches.

Great, great sandwiches and smoothies... they also have some really nice dessert choices like blueberry banana bread.!

Tasty food. Great atmosphere. Spacious--comfortable without a mask. Friendly, helpful staff. Different soup offerings daily and repeat each week--sometimes have an all new soup. I'm not a soup lover, but I enjoy many of the soup offerings.

Coffee is above average, food is good, all the people who work there are nice and great customer service! Only negative is they charge for flavor and whip, if you add these to your coffee it can be over 6.50 for a medium coffee.

The restaurant is beautiful and locally owned! I had high expectations but, the young lady at the front taking our order didn't know much about the menu. I can get over that, but she was so unfriendly it felt like we were an annoyance. I believe this is rare for them and the actual quality of our drinks was great.

Food is good, but rather pricey for what you get. No longer a coffee drinker, and never got fancy brew, but those who have tried it give it a thumbs up.

I have to admit that at first I was going to leave a worse review because I was standing and waiting for awhile before anyone came to serve me at the counter. However, a lovely woman came and profusely apologized. Which was very kind in this day and age where it could have gone worse if it took awhile to be served and the staff was indifferent or rude. We all have those kinds of days where it's just a mistake, so I appreciated the kindness. I got a coffee to go and it was wonderful so I'm glad I gave it a chance! They have a lot of sugar free selection.

This hidden gem has excellent latte's, brewed coffee and delicious food. Well worth the drive! They had a good selection of low carb menu items. I enjoyed the breakfast bowl which was filled with fresh ingredients and was absolutely a wonderful treat. My only critique would be that being from Texas I would have liked it with hot picante sauce. My husband had the best, moist, flavorful chocolate muffin and his comment was that he should have bought two. The establishment was pristine clean, comfortable and a attentive staff. Will stop by anytime we are in the area.

This is the best coffee shop in town. Open spacing. Great place to meet for breakfast, coffee, or lunch. Locally owned and delicious. Their Spicy Turkey Sandwich is a staple of our Saturday afternoon. Great place to stop amid a busy day in town. Great place to work for the afternoon if you need access to good internet and coffee.
