Husband had his work Christmas party here. I immediately knew where is was due to being an "okay yeah" fan which is right next door! I love the nostalgia feel you get from this place! The theme of the party was 1920's which was very fitting as you can notice the moment when you walk in the door! Our party was upstairs. The atmosphere was awesome! The bar area room was awesome and had exposed brick walls everywhere. It was super airy and open feel which is great for functions for work parties. The other room was super open and again everything from the ceiling moulding, etc. was amazing definitely older which is great and a nice change from all the modern looking office type spaces everyone has. They had a buffet which was great function wise because there is a longer hallway that breaks up the two rooms which allows plenty of room for food table and lines to form...The location is prime located right around the corner from Jones Assembly, etc. The parking is great as there is a lot right next to it!

Film Row so needed a little coffee shop, but it's even better that the Paramount is so much more than a coffee shop. With wine and beer, a nice little food menu, and delicious Pie Junkie pies, this little spot can take care of many different needs. For an area that is growing with new office workers more quickly than small businesses can open to address their needs, it's great Paramount does more than just serve a good cuppa joe. I stopped in last week to do a bit of work and then have a meeting. We split a piece of coconut cream pie (my favorite) and I had a very delicious soy latte. I also love that they support the other local film row businesses, for example, by playing KOSU in the shop. It was a great place to get some work done and have a meeting, and it's proximity to downtown makes it a really nice place for meetings with downtown dwellers, without having to mess with downtown parking.

The Paramount is a great space with rich history. In addition to being home to deadCenter Film Festival, they host events and Exchange Rotary meets there each Wednesday 12-1. They have the original theater that has a variety of seating options, a cute little concession area, and a large room that houses their virtual reality technology where you can try it out. If you're not familiar with deadCenter, I highly recommend checking them out and attending an event at the Paramount.

Absolutely love this place. My sister & I played there last Friday night, it was the first time I had been there. When we entered, there was a book reading about to begin in the theater--a great crowd and sweet ladies greeted us at the door. We made our way into the cafe (where they host live music) and found a cozy & eclectic spot that offered food, coffee, wine & beer. Helen is the nicest person, she was there the entire night & helped us with everything we needed. Her staff was excellent and the overall experience was so positive. We look forward to returning in September to perform again, and in the meantime, we will return to enjoy their many events such as improv, poetry readings, spoken word, comedy night, karaoke, etc!

Really enjoy this atmosphere! Have only been a couple of times. Both times were a Friday night with great live music and no cover. Had a piece of pie the first night that was delicious and wine the second time. The atmosphere is eclectic and laid back. Varied patrons were there from hipsters to senior citizens. I love the free juke box and piano with a sign asking to be played. Can't wait to go again and check out karoake night.

This is such a cool space and perfect for Film Row. I had previously been to The Paramount during the monthly Friday night street party Premiere on Film Row but only to use their restroom and cut through to get from one place to another. I didn't stick around long enough to hear the standup comedy they usually have in their screening room during those events. I loved the classic movie décor and the fact that their café sells pieces of pie from PieJunkie so I knew I had to attend an event there some day. That day was this past Thursday for the 2nd Thursday at the Paramount Kyle Dillingham & Horseshoe Road concert. I found out about this event from the Downtown OKC Inc newsletter and thought I would give it a try. I bought my ticket for the concert online for less than $20. I could have paid more to sit up front on one of the couches or more comfortable chairs but decided to go for the less expensive option of sitting in the traditional movie screening chairs. The chairs were authentic which means the wood back and hard seats were not the most comfortable for very long. That happens to be the only reason I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 but I guess that was actually my fault for choosing the cheaper tickets. The other reason I wanted to sit further away is that, even though this was an acoustic concert, there was a main microphone that amplified the sound. As my hard of hearing husband likes to say, I have supersensitive hearing. I just think I have normal, undamaged hearing and would like to keep it that way. Although I did have to resort to using my high-fidelity ear plugs after other patrons requested that the volume be turned up, I still found The Paramount to be a great place for intimate concerts since there was only space for fewer than 100 people. The concert started at 7 pm but the doors opened at 6 pm and there was free parking in the parking lot on the west side of the building. I arrived early enough to head to the café first and have a piece of Peach Blueberry Crumble pie. I had not tried that one yet but it was delicious and all the workers in the café were very helpful and friendly. As Marek mentioned, you can take your food and beverages into the theater and many people did. I did not realize that the concert would last until almost 10 pm but they took a break at 8:30 and everyone headed to the restrooms and to the café for refreshments. I enjoyed my concert experience very much. The Paramount has all kinds of events and lots different movies scheduled. I will definitely be returning to sample more (and eat more pie)!

Love this concept! They serve pies from Pie Junkie too! Good wine and beer selection. The customer service is amazing - you feel at home there. My group only went for desserts. We are going back for dinner, wine and a movie and/or breakfast really soon. Can not go wrong with Pie Junkie Pies but they also have a DELICIOUS dessert smoothie called the frozen hot chocolate. It is magical chocolate in your mouth. They offer live music and movies in their theater. You can smell the movie popcorn when you walk in too....yummy. Love jewels like this in Oklahoma City!

One of my favorite spaces in Oklahoma City! It has a fantastic cafe with Pie Junkie pies and AAA Root Beer. They also serve sandwiches, chips, candy and beer. You can take all of it into the theater. They also have a great collection of movies they show on the weekends and in the evenings. With traditional theater seating in the back and a couches up front, it's a great setting!
