80's and 90's babies unite! They have such cool retro stuff. I only popped in to see what it was all about. The bartender was friendly and we talked for a bit. I liked all the decor. Flashbacks to my childhood! From stuff like the A-Team to Garfield. Man...my ADD brain was very entertained! I want to go back and try a couple of their quirky drinks and play some games, great nostalgia. We popped in on a week night about 10pm and there was a homeless man sitting having a beer and about 6 older guys playing games and one couple fighting in the back by the skeeball... so it felt "awkward " lol. But the place looked super cool so I 4 star it just for that alone....and I definitely want to go back during the day just to hang out and play. I'll do an update when that happens. Fun bar to visit with friends to relive childhood memories and play some old/classic arcade/video games such as skee-ball, pinball, Pac-Man, Donkey Kong, etc. from the 80s and 90s. Stays open late until 2 am on most nights. Different specials offered depending on the day of the week. The decor gives off a pleasant retro vibe. Plenty of street parking available downtown. The DJs play a good mix of EDM/dance/classic tracks. The bartenders make great video game themed cocktails and have a decent selection of beer, wine, liquor/shots, and non-alcoholic drinks as well.

Great place to play some skee ball, pinball, and other video games. Definitely will return when I'm back in Tulsa. Nice place to get some drinks with friends and play some games

The max retropub is a fun and fabulous place to play games, enjoy delightful beverages, and test your pinball and/or skeeball skillz. There are amazing themes drinks and decor. Majda and her crew have got you covered

This is a great bar! The concept is totally tubular! Great drinks at reasonable prices. Fun games to play and the music selection is incredible. Many of the games are out of order so that's kinda gnarly.

All the old retro games were played as kids; Ms Pac Man, Defender, Skee ball, etc. retro awesome. Majda is an awesome bartender. You can't go wrong with an order from her. She's courteous, polite, and everything you'd want from friendly face at your local bar. Check 'em out.

Great bar, love the DJ, she plays great hits . However you can no longer vape here which is kinda lame

I've been coming to this bar for yearsss. The bar owner is amazing: She's really fun and loves people. As long as you're not a dick, she's not a dick. But she can be mean, when youre forced to "drink something nasty" in front of everyone.Everyday in the week (besides Friday and Saturday ofc), there's a different event here. I come almost every Sunday to play free Bingo. Regular bingo allows you to roll a big squishy dice that gives different prizes; except that rolling a 5 forces you to "drink something nasty." Ray the bingo announcer, is very exciting and does his job very entertainingly! However since I work night shift, I haven't been able to come to any of the other events. However, the bar owner has put alot of creativity into these games and they sound really fun."Live event" games aren't the only thing this bar has to offer. They have tons of 80s, 90s and 2000s arcade games. Don't forget the pinball! There's a great selection of alcomahols. 80s and 90s box TVs that actually work. There's also a large variety of retro memorabilia scattered throughout the whole bar. The bar owner is really cute too!If you haven't been to The Max, you definitely need to try it out!

I absolutely love this place. Walked in and was transported to my youth. They were simpler times ...The atmosphere is great, the people are all loving the vibe and the theme, and the service was quick. I didn't try any of the food but I will if I come back.

Visited this past weekend while walking around downtown. A couple bartenders were incredibly rude. Will not be visiting again. If you're looking for a good time and decent service, go somewhere else.
