This place is amazing and has INCREDIBLE food! As appetizers they serve you some type of puffy chips (not tortilla) with hot sauce which is quite different than normal Mexican places. Prompt and attentive service and also cool interior environs with some fire centers to keep you warm outside (they said there would be a DJ later on at the patio as well). Their Pepian De Pollo was also awesome and is chicken breast with tomato sauce, macaroni salad and rice - all excellent. I also got their corn hub (Mexican street corn off the cob - delicious), and a Lime Jarritos. Next time would like to try their Hilachas (shredded beef, carrots and potatoes in a tomato sauce with rice and macaroni salad) and Lemon cake (Tres Leches I believe). Highly recommended!

LONG POST BUT WELL WORTH THE READ*** I've been to this place three times now. I'm from Tuttle but go to OKC often and like to try out new spots. Our server Rosie was phenomenal our first visit(she gets all the stars); she was very knowledgeable about drinks, the menu and had some great recommendations. The food was really good; we had asada nachos(which are a sheetpan nacho btw), carnitas tacos, and the cheese, queso, salsa and guacamole. The slasa and guacamole were fantastic and tasted so fresh. I also had a black stallion and a Mexican candy shot- they were both delicious. Rosie informed us that although not on the menu, she could make me a Mexican candy cocktail and it was just as delicious. The place was clean, the music was spot on and the vibe was just right. We left very pleased and swore to go back. We went back on Valentine's Day and although the drinks, food and customer service was still good, it was subpar from our first experience. The waitress wasn't able to answer my questions about some of the menu items or specials and the asada tacos had a considerable amount of gristle. There was also a line for the restroom because only 1 of the 2 were open. There was definitely a stench that permeated the restaurant because of it. The 2nd bathroom opened but it began overflowing when I flushed and the smell was horrendous. We did get to take home a couple of balloons, so that was a plus, but the 7 people wait for the restroom was ridiculous and the smell did me in. My husband and I also went this past Saturday for their Margarita DAY. They were PACKED! This experience was completely different from the first two. We went up to the bar and ordered 2 margarita flights from the visibly annoyed bartender and she immediately turned to her coworkers and rolled her eyes. She started making our drinks immediately and then shouted across the bar to the other workers that they "NO LONGER HAVE FLIGHTS, DO NOT ORDER ANY MORE FLIGHTS". I was excited that we scored the last ones, but sad that the people meeting us later missed out. We did not catch her name, but she was short and chunky with curly hair. After almost 10 minutes she came back to us, empty handed, and told us they were out of flights. Mind you- it was only 5 o'clock and we kept seeing margaritas go out, so how were they out of the flights? She left before we could order anything else. When she returned, she took the individual's next to us' order, and didnt acknowledge we were there. She had very poor customer service skills and looked visibly agitated. We also witnessed her and another person drinking behind the bar, which was our breaking point---there was a bar full of people waiting to be served and there they were taking shots amongst themselves. That was classless, but for all we know she could be the owner and that is how she runs the place. We ended up sitting in one of the front tables and had a more pleasant experience with our server, she was lovely; and although they were busy, she answered all of our questions and was very polite. We started with 2 mexican candy shots and they were as delicious as we remembered. I asked her about not being able to order the flights and she told us that we could still order the full-sized version of those drinks but not the smaller size that they use for the margarita flight. We asked why but were met with uncertainty. I wish I could have spoken to a manager, but we ended up leaving in a hurry because I had to use the restroom and the line was ridiculously long...... again. We chose not to return with our friends and decided on another bar instead. Im not sure if my first experience was just a fluke and the other days is a more accurate representation of the Margarita Garden. I am debating on going back, but I will definitely not stay if I see the same girl bartending.ALL I WANTED WAS TO TRY DIFFERENT TYPES/FLAVORS OF MARGARITAS FOR MARGARITA DAY!!! Only come if you can hold your bladder!!!! This place is not consistent and got worse each time....Im scared to return. I am pretty sure the restrooms being gross is a health hazard.

This is a good little spot in the plaza district! Their happy hour was very fairly priced and the drinks were huge. The food is also pretty good, the highlights were the chips and carne asada taco ( the salsa they give with the taco was so good )! The vibe of the restaurant is great as well, there's a little covered patio and an actual restaurant area towards the back. My only note is the service was pretty lackluster/slow this night. A person in my group never got the drink they ordered and it felt like we were reminding the waitress of things she forgot consistently throughout our experience. Plus it just took forever to get anything so plan accordingly if you go! Overall, a great spot in the plaza for happy hour!

This place is never crowded but we thought to give it a try-who doesn't love margaritas and tacos? From the jump, the menu is VERY limited. The restaurant itself is cold as they don't have actual walls in the restaurant, just clear vinyl covering the outdoor space. Our waitress was either brand new or stuck cuz she took forever to do EVERYTHING. The tacos were inedible. The queso was nacho dip you could get from a can at the supermarket. The margaritas were actually really good, but by the time we actually got them, we were done with our food. I don't think this place will last long and rightfully so. I would never come back
