The Jane Store

Good food and down home friendly service in this out of the way spot. Building sorta looks uninhabited but don't be fooled. Fresh dried herbs and spices along with jams and jellys adorn the many shelves. We'll be back.

This is a very old part of our small-town history, a very colorful, (read: sketchy), part. But, the food is definitely down home and leaves you feeling satisfied when you're done. But, don't forget to tip the waitresses for the service and the cook too.

Tiny. But makes up for it's size in quality! It's a restaurant plus they have all sorts of bulk spices and yummy home-style canned goods. Like pickles, pickled eggs, jellies and jams. The menu is simple but what I've eaten was yummy! Oh and did I mention they have cookies? Fresh made! Snickerdoodles, choco chip! Mmmm so fresh and yummy!!Great prices. Very friendly, helpful service!! Highly recommend!!And I hear Fri is Reuben day - and they make their own corned beef!!! Will be making a trip try it soon... I'll keep you posted! And if you try one before me - please let me know!!

This is like walking back in time and is so friendly and great food and shopping homemade jams and jellies and every spice imaginable ( far cheaper and better quality ) than any store , OH and hand dipped ice cream and very affordable! Well worth it !

We love the food and atmosphere at the The Jane Store!! They have a country store there and it has all kinds of goodies...also if you get there early enough to snag some Lemon Cookies you are lucky and in for an amazing treat. Best cookies I've ever eaten!

This is a great little spot! We went several times while we were staying in the area. Check out their facebook page for their daily specials. They have community seating so just go in and pick a seat and they will bring you a menu. They have homemade baked goods everyday and cinnamon rolls for breakfast on Fridays. They are also so friendly!!

Best little cafe in the area run by caring and thoughtful owners. Gayla and Sam are wonderful at making everyone in their cafe feel welcome and the community gatherings at the Jane Store gives a feel of old times. The food is delish, the biscuits and gravy are fantastic.We love their Rueben Sandwiches on Fridays and Sam makes the best cinnamon rolls always on Friday.I buy my bulk spices from The Jane Store the prices are fantastic. Love love the Jane Store!

Best pies and great breakfast. I've never been there for lunch. It's a little restaurant with a little town feel. You can tell it's a main eatery place for the locals.

This is a great choice if you want a great meal for breakfast or lunch. I especially like to stop in when they have Rueben's! They also carry baked goods! I have never been disappointed by anything from here!
