Here's a place that has a ton of potential. Got lured in with a great instagram video. Very spacious restaurant. Quick take: likely won't be back. For me presentation is so key. Right off the bat there were about five security guards standing in the dining area. I'm all for security but space them out a bit make them do something, but don't let them all congregate in the middle of your dining area.Second miss, all their menus are on printer paper. The drink menu we were handed looked like someone ran it over, balled it up then tried to flatten it out. Come on now.Very limited menu. About five apps and about five entrees. We had the Prickly Pair and the Beach Please. Two of the best drinks we've had downtown to be honest.Ordered the queso. Was lukewarm at best. I love a steaming hot queso with my chips, maybe I'm just a nerd :)I had the quesa birria tacos. The birria consome was flavorless and the shells of the birria tacos were soggy as can be. Flavor of the taco was decent but if you're a birria fan skip it here and go to Mez Y Cal instead.Fiancé had the ceviche. She said she liked it but said it didn't exude a ton of flavor either.Also felt like we were interrupting their transition from restaurant to night club. Not the most relaxing place to eat.Hate to leave a review like this but it was not the best experience. However our waiter was great!

Excellent service. Thanks Dacie!Came in thinking it was the mediterranean place (the goat) but it's now a mexican food place. So set your pallet accordingly. Got fajitas. Food was good. Rice and beans are not to be taken for granted, these were good. Fajitas were as they should be. Just got their liquor license so corona is your only choice. Really like that you can pay your check from your phone. Dog friendly patio with great shade and breeze, 91 degrees and its very comfortable. They got heaters too. Food was a 3 (it's very hard to impress me with Mexican, because in this town, there's just so much great mexican here) everything else was a 5@rydertheblue2

Went for dinner and the birria tacos did not disappoint! Also their strawberry agua Fresca was amazing.

I would never eat here again!!! The food was like going to Taco Bueno. Out of tonic and all the beers on tap. The queso was cold. The only thing I have good to say about this place is the chips and salsa are fantastic. So if that's all you are going to eat you will love it. The service was even worse than taco bueno.

Terrible experience! I had high hopes. After seated, we waited to even be greeted, were brought our appetizers. Had to ask for silverware, plates, and salt. There was zero warmth from any of the staff. Including what appeared to be a manager, who was outside more than inside. I think the place has great potential if they will recognize that their service must improve or that alone will be their demise.
