What a cool find! Repurposing a movie theatre into a super cool diner/bar vibe with delish food.Great variety of menu items, with impressive portions and even more impressive flavor.Our waitress took good care of us from the time she sat us til we paid the bill.If you're passing thru Huntsville and looking for good food - check out the Crooked Rooster!

This restaurant is in an old indoor movie theater. Kinda neat, how they have adapted the interior and the slanted floor...but they've done it and done it pretty darn good! I went with the meatloaf special. This meatloaf rendition has big chunks of garlic...and was smoked off a bit. Overall, I liked it. Twice baked potato. Shoot, who does this as a side dish, to a lunch special? Well, this place does! Again, this twice baked was pretty darn good! Green beans: On this day, needed more seasoning...maybe some butter...to make that side dish, match the others in quality.

Fun place in Huntsville AR. Located in an old movie theater, the atmosphere is very unique. We had great service from Whitney and the food was very tasty. Full bar makes for perfect night out.

After nearly 8 hours in the car we had to stop for food. Sweet little town only had 3 open sit down restaurants and two were Mexican food. We just wanted something grilled, quick, not fast food. The service was great. Love what they did with the building... very creative. Had the smash burger and honestly it was one of the best burgers I've had in a long time! Highly recommend this spot.

We stopped in on our way through town, based off the 4.5 stars. We should have realized that there were only five reviews so far. The service was so very slow. We waited 40 minutes for our food. The food was mediocre at best.

The Crooked Rooster is a regular, rotating staple spot for me! Situated off of Main Street in Downtown Huntsville, Arkansas-- find parallel parking, or park near the gazebo area. The exterior holds nostalgia of the previous movie theatre the restaurant is now housed at. There is usually a folding sign at the exterior listing the daily special-- sometimes it is Karaoke Night, sometimes it's a BBQ Rib plate night. Always check the specials outside. When entering, to the right-- find a traditional bar setting with plenty of pub tables and ale. To the left, you can wait for a table and they will lead you down to the main attraction area. The tables are beautiful, hand-laid wooden, sitting in their own contained pods so you're far away enough from other patrons. There are a couple of larger tables that will seat 6-12 people. Most tables seat up to 4. The menu has a list of appetizers-- the bbq pork nachos are awesome, the recently-added cheese curds rock! Try them alongside their house-made ranch. They sell Pepsi soda options. You can get bottled Mike's Hard Lemonade Cranberry for $2.50. The main course options range from salads (all have been great), to handhelds like hamburgers, hot turkey, cold club, Philly, and more. There are also knife & fork options like steak, fettuccini, and others. I love their Turkey with grilled bacon and onions. The sides contain twice baked potato, pasta salad, onion rings, tots, fries, sweet potato fries with a unique dipping sauce, and more. The twice baked potato is A+. The bread pudding is their dessert staple-- sure to please. Prices for appetizers are around $10-$14 depending on what it is. The mains are about $12-$16 for most but they do have pricier items like the steak. The sodas are around $2.50. They have a variety of beers and alcohol types-- just inquire with your server. The servers have all been pleasant. The food is a bit more upscale than a diner or typical home style restaurant. The food has a special, interesting culinary twist to it-- and it's definitely worth the price. This is a hidden gem of a place here in the middle of Madison County. I have brought many out-of-towners and they've all been delighted. To add to the experience-- every time I've came, you can clearly see the owner heavily involved in operations and will check on the tables; which is a nice, welcomed touch. Come check it out and see for yourself why The Crooked Rooster is a special place that has a place in downtown Huntsville for many years to come.

You have to try this unique place!! The Philly Cheesesteak and the Smash Burger are Both Delicious along with the Onion Rings and Honey Roasted Brussels. And to end your meal... the Bourbon Glaze Bread Pudding is absolutely amazing!!! The service was Great! The setting is rustic and We loved it. I can see this place bustling on a Friday night or for the fans watching in Football Saturdays. Check it out if you're in the area!!

Stopped in today because the Pantry was closed. Excellent Wings, juicy and delicious. Service was great. Neat little whole in the wall.

Tried this place on our travels and we will definitely be back when coming thru . I had the tenderloin and it was spot on . Husband had the Philly cheese and loved it the same . Try the sweet potato fries and dip ... It's so yummy
