The Colony

What a great place to hang out and listen to music ... Cool Atmosphere and good people !!!Thursday nights are especially great, listening to Seth Lee Jones. That dude can play guitar!!! OMG

The colony is a fun dive bar with a fireplace, attentive bartender, and live music. They have a full bar and a limited, but diverse beer selection.

I love the atmosphere here. They have great ciders on tap and excellent service! I really love going here during off times. Then it's easier to get the couch to yourself. But the music played here is generally phenomenal. Highly recommend!

Not sure why I have never been here, it is right by my house. This place has dive-y, small town, warm charmy feel written all over it. I guess I always thought it was a sketchy place from the outside but that is not at all the case. I can tell most of the patrons come here often and for good reason. Booze is fairly cheap and they have a good bottled beer selection. Trivia night was rockin while we were there too. Lots of HUGE tvs for games which is always a plus. My favorite part? THE LEGIT FIREPLACE!!! I mean come on how many bars do you know that have a legit wood fireplace you can cozy up next to?

This place looks a little scary from the outside, but when you walk in, you find a very cozy little place with great live music every night. It's small and dark with comfy seating, a fireplace, and a pretty good selection of bottled beer. Seth Lee Jones plays on Mondays, and we really enjoyed his bluesy rock.

Decently priced drinks, great music and friendly crowds make this a great place to go any day of the week. There is usually a live band playing and they even bring out of town bands in. I've heard some amazing local and out of state bands here and come whenever I want live music. I'd recommend it for people to come with one or a bunch of friends looking for a relaxed atmosphere an live tunes. There's a spacious patio and decently sized main area and they even have a pool table in the side room. It recently changed from smoking to non-smoking inside with smoking allowed on the patio = good change.

Cool place, great company, and interesting people watching. The music is always good, they have regular bands during the week, and randoms on the weekends.

I am torn when it comes to The Colony. The smoke is thick, but they have great local music. And they have 7 for $7. And as a bonus there is a diner for post-partying breakfast conveniently located across the parking lot. Though generally when I leave I want to shower, not eat pancakes.Still, if you don't mind the smoke and are looking for a cool place to down a few beers and hear great bands play live, original music for a low cover or often for free The Colony is worth checking out.

Looked for a dive with music, drinks, and culture...The Colony fit the bill perfect. I'll be back.

I'm so glad we went out of our way to check this place out on a short visit to Tulsa! The Paul Benjamin Band was amazing! The bartender was very awesome as well. Can't remember her name, but she was super welcoming and chatty with us.
