What a lovely experience. I went with a good friend of mine, and we chose to split 4 items. We split the shareable fried green tomatoes, the shareable Wellington, and then split the potato gnocchi entrée and the toffee sticky pudding .The food was amazing, and the service was impeccable. The atmosphere was lovely, understated and elegant.

I really like the atmosphere. It's quietly urban and casual. We were in a roomy booth! The bar is a great place to sit as well. The staff and service are great! There if you need them. But not invasive. We shared a variety of items off the menu. Its was all good!

I recently visited Chalkboard and had a decent experience. I went on a Friday, and while it was a bit quieter than I expected, I'd love to return on a weekend for a true brunch vibe. The food was okay--typical hotel restaurant fare--but I wish they offered something a bit more special or unique. OKC is a vibrant, up-and-coming city, and I think the experience could reflect that.Overall, it was still a good time with girlfriends!

What a charming great lunch spot. My husband and i stumbled in here on a Thursday for lunch. Loved the modern classic appearance and vibe. Great place for work meeting etc. service was attentive the host was also the water filler and she was on top of it!My you pick two was the perfect portion size. Food was so fresh and filling. Sandwich was absolutely delicious and packed with protein! French onion soup was delicious and not overly salty like so many places are.

I was sad that Cafe Cuvee closed since it was one of my favorite brunch spots. We have been to the Chalkboard in Tulsa and we didn't have a good dining experience there, but we were optimistic for brunch today. They still kept some of the items but they took my favorite dish that I typically ordered: chicken and mushroom crepe off the menu. I got the onion soup and the quiche Lorraine. I got my soup in a good amount of time but our entrees took a bit to come out. The onion soup lacked flavor, I was very disappointed with that one. Well, the quiche was even more of a disappointment. It was so oily! There was barely any crust and the quiche was so mushy I had to send it back. I do love the dressing on the side salad. The server who we tend to get pretty much knows us by now, was understanding about it. I switched to the egg white omelet. Well, I ran into the same issue, it was so oily, that the plate was full of it. I had an egg white omelet at other diners and it was far more healthier and flavored than this one. Lastly is the coffee, honestly, we can't even taste the flavor because there's none.

Excellent appetizers, had the Wellington bites, the lamb pops and also the scallops with awesome grits. Got an Arnold Palmer and sparkling water (service was also superb in making those drinks) and the dessert of toffee pudding with strawberry ice cream was great, as was the hazelnut flavored espresso. Interior environs also very cool and stylish. Just those appetizers filled me up, so I'm looking forward to coming back for dinner!

Brunch was festive at The Chalkboard near Christmas! The Ambassador Hotel was so beautifully decorated. Our server, Joe, was attentive and took great care of our large group of ladies. The restaurant is classic and comfortable with a cool vibe. I had a vanilla latte and a build your own omelet. The latte was perfect and my omelet was fluffy and filled with great flavors. I look forward to returning again!

Ended up at Chalkboard when another area restaurant was closed due to the snowy conditions. The decor was dark and swanky! The staff were all really friendly! I knew they were known for their beef Wellington, so I was excited to see they had Wellington bites on their menu! They were really great! Shared those, fried green tomatoes (excellent sauce), the gnocchi dish and sticky toffee pudding.
