The Buttered Biscuit - Fayetteville

So popped into the Buttered Biscuit for a late breakfast after an early business meeting. Ordered the meat lovers scramble - the scramble! Got my eggs over easy. The eggs were cooked perfectly and the ham, bacon, and sausage were great. The flavors mixed well and I tried to lick the bowl. Luckily I had a biscuit so ordered a side of gravy and man I really enjoyed the gravy. I make a great sausage gravy and this gravy rivaled mine. Look forward to this restaurant chain coming to central arkansas.

Context is everything, and I think the temperature ruined our experience. This morning, it was 61 degrees in the restaurant. Staff said it was set to 80 but no one could make it work. Everyone in the restaurant were wearing coats- including the staff. It meant we weren't happy sitting there, and when the food came, the biscuit was so cool it wouldn't melt butter. Most everything seems cooked to order, yet it was cool on the plate. Did I mention it was cold in the building?We might go again. But it's unlikely.

I had the Razorback...biscuit, sausage, sliced tomato, avocado, pepper jack cheese. It was delicious!We had great service too.

An adorable home style kitchen feel that has mastered the biscuit! If you are trying this place for the first time you have to get a biscuit with one of the homemade spreads. They are the perfect breakfast combination. We didn't try the cinnamon roll but they looked delicious- maybe next time. The service was quick and friendly. I would definitly recommend if you are looking for a fresh, homemade breakfast.

Ok, this place was recommended so I popped in to check out the Winchester. It looked great. It tasted great. But, the gravy wasn't hot. It was almost room temp. I was so bummed. I would have given this 5 stars and said this was the best chicken and biscuit and gravy I've had, BUT, they missed when the chicken and biscuit was covered with cool gravy. Sad and disappointing. Hope yours comes hot!

Good place for breakfast, and would return if someone really wanted to go, but wouldn't go out of my way as I have some other favorite breakfast joints that I enjoy their menus a little more. I had the acai bowl which was more ice cream/yogurt than granola or other items so it was just fine. I sampled some of my friend's eggs and bacon and the biscuit too and all were fine. Just not blown away. The brightest spot was the service... very friendly, welcoming and attentive. I would give 3.5 stars if I could

The restaurant is very cute. I like bright, country charm feel. We ordered lemon curd beignets to share. The strawberries on this dish were so good. Overall, really good flavor and nice flavor combo . I wish the beignets were a little more airy and the lemon were a little more pronounced.My 12yo and I shared the kickin chicken with sauce on the side, which he said is just Tabasco (slightly disappointed). The waffle was nice. The chicken was cooked well, but a little over seasoned for me (very peppery). Eggs were meh. This dish was a 3/5 for me. Husband was happy to have a choice of a double expresso and then ordered biscuits with gravy meal. The eggs were cooked exactly how he asked (sunny side up), biscuit was good, and gravy was good. He would have liked a little more sausage flavor. He said 3.5/5. Overall experience was a nice vacation breakfast. That probably bumped it to a 4

The ambiance was simple and fun. The service was excellent!! The food was served hot and fresh. The biscuit was delicious with pimento cheese and farm fresh eggs and bacon! The menu is diverse with new things to try like sweet potatoe hash!It was amazing! I'll be back!

Flew into Fayetteville for the Horns vs Hogs game. We went here for breakfast before the game. The espresso and screwdrivers were excellent and helped pre-game prep. I had the meat lovers scramble and it was cooked perfectly. The biscuit was off the chain and I wish I had more than one. Chatted with the owner he was very kind. Would definitely go again if I'm ever in AR.
