We love The Big Biscuit in Midwest City! We stopped in for breakfast today as our "cheat meal" after finishing a 30 day fitness challenge. I've been looking forward to it all month! lolI always get the Cold Brew coffee and today tried the Cinnamon Cream Cold Brew. Very tasty! For breakfast I had the Country Benedict. Potatoes were crispy and everything was cooked well. We also splurged on the Loaded Sticky Biscuit and boy is that thing good! We've never had a bad meal or bad service here. Their chicken is really good too. Today our waitress was Vanessa and she was awesome and so friendly! We will be back as our diet allows.

We joined the waitlist on yelp, apparently it doesn't notify them of that... (weird) but we got seated pretty quickly once we checked in with the hostess. The server was quick to serve us. I ordered a cold brew coffee, it was pretty good. Heavy on the cold cream foam but still good. Then I got a bowl with chorizo, eggs, and potatoes. Really good flavors in my bowl, I'd order it again. The biscuit was huge, fluffy, and crispy on the outside. The place is kinda loud when it's packed but it didn't really bug my party or I, if we had a bigger party it might've been annoying.

This is out of the way for us - more than 20 miles from home, but we sometimes shop in the area and saw it the last time we were in the area.We didn't eat there then because we'd already eaten elsewhere, so the next time we were in the area, we waited to eat until we could try The Big Biscuit. We arrived a good hour and a half before closing (important for several reasons, not least is not making employees stay past closing just for us) and were seated immediately. It took about 10 minutes before the waitstaff came for our drink order - she looked exhausted so we shrugged off the slow start. She misheard the order and we had to repeat several times before she got it right, but she did get it right, and the food came out very fast. They did mix up our drinks and food, but eh - she was tired and it was no issue to trade glasses and plates to get the food we'd ordered. WHat can we expect when we arrive so late in their work-day? WIth an hour left, I bet they were counting the seconds to locking the doors, cleaning up, and leaving to put their feet up for a bit.I ordered the full biscuit and gravy with hashbrowns. She asked if I wanted a side of meat. Since the gravy was a sausage gravy and already had meat in it, I declined. Besides, the full biscuit and gravy is 2 large biscuits with gravy - that's a lot of food right there. My companion got a vegetable scramble with a side of sausage and a biscuit. The biscuit is worth the trip - large, crisp on the outside, fluffy on the inside.I didn't quite finish my order, leaving behind less than half of one of the biscuit halves and a few bites of hashbrown. The biscuit was awesome. The gravy was rather bland - no discernible sausage flavor despite seeing lots of sausage, a bit floury in taste (the roux not cooked long enough to cook off the flour flavor), and adding salt and pepper didn't improve it much. It was edible and the biscuit carried it, but I like my gravy to taste of something other than flour. Hashbrowns were hashbrowns. My companion really enjoyed their vegetable scramble, liked the wide variety of vegetables in it, remorked they needed to remember to add more veggies to their own egg cookery, was glad they got the sausage on the side as they felt crumbling or cooking the sausage in the scramble would have detracted from both. Or maybe not, but separate was a good choice. They enjoyed the biscuit a lot. They brought our ticket long before we'd finished - again no doubt because it was close to closing. We felt a bit rushed even though it was still 45 minutes before closing. So we hustled out of there as quickly as we could.Overall, this was a good choice. We aren't going to drive 20+ miles just to eat there, but we will remember they are there and when we need to be in the area, we will return. And we will try to get there WELL before they close so we don't get rushed out.

Pretty much what you expect from a breakfast place. The biscuits and gravy is great (definitely needed more gravy!) and there is a great flavor to the gravy and excellent fluffiness of the biscuit. The side potatoes are pretty good. My eggs were cooked correctly. The bacon was "meh"- it was not the "thick-cut" I was expecting from what was listed in the menu. The prices are a little high for the "everyday" breakfast style place it's meant to be.The service was great; the atmosphere is bright and inviting. We were seated right away on a Friday lunch time.

I have only ate here twice, but both times have been a good experience. I ordered the chicken sandwich each time and I highly recommend it. The chicken is always huge and definitely hangs over the bun on each side. This time I called in a to-go order for lunch and they had it. My sandwich and fries made up a very quickly, and it was hot and fresh when they handed it to me.

The bonut was pretty good. Sweet from the powdered sugar and perfectly fried. I'd prob wouldn't get it again tho cos ngl I got heartburn lol. It just made my meal extra heavy and I'm stuffed!! My brother got the fried chicken and waffles. He DEMOLISHED the fried chicken. It was crispy and good. I got the big bigger breakfast again but it was different? They didn't have the cheese and green onion on the potatoes this time. Honestly that's what made it so delicious last time. Again, our food wasn't hot. Really just warm.

After dining at the Edmond location, I have wanted to take my family to The Big Biscuit. Then when one opened in MWC, I thought it would be the great family outing since it's a little closer to home. We used the online waitlist, which shortened our wait to about 5 minutes once we got there. The restaurant is very spacious, but also very busy on a Saturday. The service was friendly throughout our visit. We had a hard time choosing between all the options on the menu, but we started with the bonut (yum!). Most of the breakfast items were good including the biscuits and gravy, pancakes, eggs, etc. The pancake platter was large and could have been shared. Our favorite dishes were the Laredo bowl and the chicken and waffles. The chicken was really good! We would definitely try that one again next time.
