Solid. We carried out a bunch of stuff. Brisket - excellent. Smoky flavor, terrific bark.Pulled pork - not as good as the brisket, but tender and yummy.Baked beans were quite tasty. The potato salad was mustard based and really delicious.They run out of BBQ so get there early to get the food stuff!

Best bbq in the area. We travel a lot and this place is as good as Oklahoma joes in kc. The brisket was tender perfectly smoked and a pleasure. The pulled pork was excellent but the brisket was the bomb. Give this place a visit you won't be let down!

I enjoy eating at The Barbecue Joint. They often sell completely out of food, because it is really good, and reasonably priced. I usually buy one of the brown bag lunch specials, but have enjoyed everything I have tried.My main advice is to get there early if you want brisket, because it sells out really fast.

I've been to almost every BBQ place in about a 70 mile circle. The BBQ Joint is my favorite! Best around SWMO as far as I'm concerned. Get there early! Call the day before if you need a rack of ribs.It has limited seating but I usually get my BBQ to go.

Great joint for barbecue! Their meat is so tender, and flavorful. As soon as I pulled up the smell of smoked meat fills the air. This place lacks a lot of seating so take out is your best bet. And getting here early is a must. The pulled pork, and brisket is by far my favorite, it just melts in your mouth. It is served with bbq sauce but you won't need it. The beans and slaw are a great combo for sides. And the slaw is fresh, and doesn't look all wilted and old like at some places, it could probably be a little more creamy for my taste. The menu is nice and simple. Meat, a choice of 3 sides, and drinks. And the service is fast and friendly.

Food, very good but quite expensive for lunch in Neosho, MO. $34 for two for lunch. Ouch.

Very good! Had one person on the trip who couldn't eat pork or beef so would have liked to have chicken available for them.

Reasonably priced food that tastes great. Staff is always really nice. They do tend to sell out daily, so if you want to make sure you get some, get there early!!

Don't let the size of this place keep you from stopping in. Wow! Some of the best BBQ I've had!Brisket was really tender and flavorful.I got the Mac & Cheese as my side and it was great too. They also have a jalapeño sauce up on front counter that is great mixed with their BBQ sauce. Don't miss it!They accept credit cards too.I will definitely remember this place and will be back.
