What a wonderful Valentine's celebration we had! My amazing husband decided to surprise me with the sweetheart package, which came with a $100 credit at the Avery. It was our first time there, and let me tell you, we walked in thinking we were in a romantic movie--rose petals everywhere and lighting that could make even a potato look seductive! They even treated us to complimentary Champagne, which was nice and bubbly. As for the food, the steak was so good it practically melted in my mouth, the whipped potatoes were fluffy enough to be clouds, and the mushrooms were like little flavor bombs. The bakef brownie dessert was delicious.Overall, it was a delightful evening! Staff was amazing.

The Avery offers a menu that takes you on a culinary road trip across Route 66. From premium burgers, to steaks, to salads, to seafood, to creative cocktails, with more stops in between...a sophisticated twist on American classics, all inspired by the Mother Road. Located in the heart of Downtown Tulsa, inside the Hyatt, the restaurant is open for Breakfast, Lunch, Happy Hour, Dinner, and Brunch (get the Crab Benedict!). Whether it's a special occasion, a casual meal, or a lil brunch date, The Avery is your new spot.

Very nice bar / restaurant in the Hyatt hotel. The staff was really friendly and it was a very nice ambiance . I ordered the Italian Beef sandwich which was decent . It came out slight overcooked originally but once we told the waitress the chef recooked it immediately and even came out to apologize for the inconvenience . Overall it was a great experience and would def be back to try more food and check it out on a different day.

Service was poor. Food was worse. Do not recommend. Their "Italian beef" was so far off base it was laughable.

Stepped into the Avery for lunch with our young granddaughters before the Theater. We had the extreme pleasure to be served by Katie, who had also taken care of me, with other grandkids, in December. This young lady is amazing. I watched her run- I mean, 200 yard dash flat out haul butt- after a customer who left a credit card on the table. She sprinted to the center of the hotel, saw them on the floor below and took off again. As she apologized for our "delay in service" she explained that the family had checked out and she knew they were headed to their car to leave the state for home and she did not want them distressed over the loss of the card. And that, folks, details the level of service Katie provides. Not intrusive or hovering. Simply always there when you need anything, engaging equally well with 9 & 10 year old girls, their Moms or Grandma and Grandad. The Avery a great complement to the level of quality and service I am spoiled with every time I visit Hyatt Regency Tulsa Downtown, and Katie exemplifies exactly why Hyatt has such a large and loyal customer base!!

I want to start by stating that the food was cooked wonderfully, and every component was seasoned perfectly. Our drinks were great and met our expectations. However, from my perspective, attention to detail was lacking from our waiter. This is not meant as negativity, but rather as constructive feedback for improvement. Our waiters could have noticed small details, like when to top off the water. Additionally, they should be able to describe the components of the plating themselves, rather than asking other guests about the food flavor profiles. This would add a level of professionalism that I expected. We sat near the chef's table section with a view of the kitchen, and having been in the back of the house in the past, I was impressed by their professionalism. Hearing them call out to each other during service was a great treat. They kept the language classy and direct. The two food runners/expo were also on point and very prompt and professional.Overall, it was a good experience. We will be back, and I hope the staff gets to know and love their menu a little better so they can upsell those sliders I want to try!

I ordered the Cobb Salad from m server Stevie and it lastged me two whole meals. She kindly brought extra blue cheese dressing. I was thrilled how fresh the produce was here in mid-Feb. as it's a chilly snowy couple of Winter days. I will repeat!

I went to The Avery before attending the symphony at the PAC. The bartender, Jesus, was wonderful. I had the baked Brie (phenomenal, hadn't had one as savory before) followed by the blackened shrimp Caesar. The shrimp were cooked to perfection, and the salad was bright and ample. I so enjoyed my dinner that I returned after the show to have the INCOMPARABLE cheesecake. Much more charming than the Daily Grill, and the facelift of the decor has given a new vibe to a very convenient location.
