Tall Tales Bar & Grill

It's a bar with personality. Our waitress Iris was the best! Great personality gave suggestions, we had a burger and fries with a wedge salad all very good. Oh and the lemon drop martini was perfect.Before we left Iris gave us a suggestion to go walk and visit the college. So glad we did. Just a lovely place to visit. She was correct the ice cream was the best!Tell her thank you

Disappointing food, drinks & service. We have given this restaurant several chances because its convenient & expectations are high from Big Cedar. We have decided we have went for our last time. Drinks take a long time & r not made with good ingredients. I have ordered a lemon drop martini on several occasion. They are nevwr made right. A full bar should b able to make this. Food is sometimes good sometimes seems reheated. Servers take forever since I think they are the ones preparing food. Seems like an easy fix with the right management. Disappointing

Very nice atmosphere, especially to watch a football game. Good portions. Reasonable-ish pricing. Our server was kind and attentive. BBQ Wings: Rather ordinary. Sauce sweet and smoky. Fish Tacos: Disappointing. Fish was mushy. Sauce (said on menu lime crema) not plentiful and literally tasteless. Was at bottom instead of top. Zombie: Strong and well prepared. Mushrooms: Well breaded and excellent texture. Didn't care for dipping sauce. Chili: Dunno. Better half wouldn't let me try.

We had tried to go to another restaurant and failed for the second time so decided to try out this new restaurant. Yes. It's a bit pricey. However, the terrific customer service and delicious food creates the value in the cost. Our server (Cyan) was one of the sweetest, best waitress we've ever had. Food came out hot and well plated. I had the balsamic chicken sandwich which was full of flavor. Brian had the prime rib which is only available on Saturday. I tried a bite and can testify this was a great choice! Fun ambiance. TVs are great to watch games. Game area looked amazing. We were short on time or we'd have played. Overall, worth the trip, worth the price. So glad we couldn't get into the other restaurant. Highly recommend tall tales!

We came here because of a rain out at Big Cedar Lodge to watch college football. From start to finish it may be one of the worst experiences I've endured in the service industry. We were an 8 top. 4 of us have been in the industry and out of the 4, 2 of us still actively are. Way too long to be seated for the amount of tables avaliable vs tables occupied. Next was the service. Our server Duncan seemed overwhelmed and out of his element. Water alsi took too long and drinks definitely took way too long s they say on the bar for over 15 min. When they finally came 2 people out of our group were then informed of the 86ed beer items. This is something an active in the moment manager should have informed his employees of at pre-shift. Also in that instant, the bartender should have run the drinks instead of walking past them the 4 to more times that I observed. The manager was not present and when he was, he did not assess the room or even table touch one table the entire time we were there. The next issue was with food. We all gave our orders and still one persons order was not entered. He received his food after the majority of us were already done. I don't blame the server for the majority of the issues because he was obviously not trained correctly. The Manager working at a resort should staff better than he did. When it rains at a huge outdoor activity property weather should be considered. Just as when we have huge events in our property we look at how that will effect our staffing. This was not obviously done as your establishment was totally understaffed. As of now I would not recommend your establishment to anyone. Also I am 100% sure Mr Morris would definitely not pleased with the service provided to his guests. I sincerely hope that these issues are corrected and addressed and Training is properly administered. Thr no one rule of service is to treat everyone as you would want to be treated and that we are Ladies and Gentelmen providing service to Ladies and Gentlemen. Also. I did not see any disclaimer of auto gratuity to large parties. And even if I didn't, it should be clearly disclosed at check presentation. We also charged for 1 of thee 86ed items...blue moon beer after being told we would not. Sorry, but this has tocbe addressed.

Great spot for games if you're in the TRL or Branson area. Friendly staff, great food.

Ask Jason to make you an Old Fashioned... best one of your life! Then he went the extra mile and spontaneously made a non-alcoholic refreshing drink for the designated driver. Best bartender ever!

Food was not good. Expensive for what you get. Our poor waiter was sweating he was running around while the other were talking.
