This park of swans which has a lake on it even has its own wikipedia page. Swan Lake used to be an amusement park at the beginning of the 20th century! Now, it's a quaint and lovely residential spot.Come find peace, love and swans in historic Tulsa with a 7 minute walk around the pond. Volunteers do an excellent job of keeping this spot maintained. Pretty yellow flowers and a statue welcome you as you snag a parking spot. A family of ducks and two swans waddle or swim about to create a picturesque ambiance. Lake is a strong word for this pond, but it provides a good home for the animals!

Nice for a drive by or walk around. In spring and fall, there can be a variety of migratory ducks. Fall colors are really nice and now days, the fountains are usually on. I liked it better before the major renovation, it looked more like wild habitat.

The neighborhood of Swan Lake was voted among the top ten for Great Place in American by the American Planning Association. Did you know there used to be a theme park in this same area. Feel like bird watching, going for a run, or just enjoying a sunny day this neighborhood and its amazing park is a great place to do it! Besides the sites around the lake to take in while your there take note of the diversity of architecture and historic monuments. The local community takes a lot of pride in there little slice of heaven and this is shown by the great care they take in upkeep of the neighborhood. Once last thing to keep in mind during the year there are great activities around the lake such as "light up the lake". A time of decorations and Christmas's lights along the park lighting it up in beauty.
