Quite the tourist trap with the decor and menu, but I can't rate the food because we never got ours. I'm assuming they were having a crazy busy Saturday lunch rush, but after waiting 30 minutes for a table, 15 minutes for the waitstaff after we were seated, but we gave up on our order just paid for our drinks and appetizer after an additional 30-45 minutes passed by. I'd had a better experience at Stables during a previous visit, but not good enough to make for a decent average of the two trips.

I can NOT believe that my beloved bar is caving to two OU fans!!!! We are being subjected to listen to the OU game. Can OU fans not understand a game by watching? Yes, I am ANGRY! Would the opposite happen in Norman? I think NOT! Management, have them go outside where the game is playing on you "back porch " and not make your faithful OSU patrons listen to our ultimate rival!!

As for what the other guy said, its not a biker bar by any means. in fact only about 4 of the people that frequent the place have motorcycles. The Stables use to be beer only until summer of 2010. It is what I call a good ol' working mans bar. Most of the regulars come in for a few cold ones after work (or for their afternoon break) and the place usually closes by midnight during the week. They even have pot of coffee brewing in the mornings to help get your day started. The weekends however are a blast, especially if the cowboys are playing at home. We even have a few sports stars that come in, Walt Garrison is there every home game. So if you're looking for place to relax and have a drink or two after a hard day at work, or for a lively party during the football game, this is the place. Stop in sometime and tell them Kat and Steve have your first round.
