I'm of the opinion that most food trucks in OKC are not worth what they charge. Low overhead should result in lower than standard restaurant food prices. But apparently, food truck owners here feel differently than food truck owners on the (otherwise more expensive) East coast. That's certainly your prerogative, OKC food truckers. But I think you're mean and I don't like you.But that's a moot point in the case of St. Paddy's Cakes, because I don't mind paying them their asking price. For $8 (+ tax & tip), a full serving of the Poke (with one of two BBQ sauce options) is filling, hearty, delicious, and everything that you could want or hope for. The crunchy potato outside, mixed with the soft potato innards, topped with the tender pork, and smothered with the BBQ sauce is nothing short of satisfying. And they're not chintzy with the meat either, which is very much appreciated.Normally, when I frequented Bleu Garten, the process involved trying to figure out which food truck was least likely to gyp me. Now I'll be looking for St. Paddy's Cakes first, and then trying to figure out what the next best (least gyppy) option is if St. Paddy's isn't to be found.

What a neat little truck! I saw they were at Bleu Garten and "potato cakes" took my interest quickly. They were fairly busy, too! And after eating a delicious potato cake, I'm glad they were. I hope they keep goin' for a while.Paddy cake ($9 full order), 5/5: White cheddar cake with cabbage slaw flavored with Irish whiskey, and smoked corned beef. It's so good! They had a handful of other potato cakes, and I bet I'd like them all. But this was the delicious piece of potato heaven I got. The cake itself was so crispy and hot. It's like... frying mashed potatoes, but in a good way! The crispy outside was delicious and the soft potato'y insides were fantastic mixed with all the fixins. A full order is more than enough to fill you up, given the amount of potato and all the stuff atop it!

Man, this review is going to be short and sweet. The food and customer service were amazing. The crew chatted with patrons and offered suggestions for any that could not make up their mind. I had the Irish Tacos and Pot O' Gold. All were amazing and all cooked with one of my favorite beers Guinness. I can't wait to find them rambling down the road again to try more of their grub. The only down side, no beer for consumption, . Cheers!

Although my ethnicity blend has nearly every northern country in it I am not Irish. I did find out many moons ago I love food with Irish flair. My father is Scottish so I try to to steer away from Haggis and find less eclectic fare to become my must eat in OKC. Especially corned beef at every chance possible; which I had hoped would be the case at St.Paddy's. The Paddy Cake was my lifeline! We had a blessing at our church and I may have sworn off pizza if I could follow St.Paddy's Cakes around for every lunch. I was so much in love with the Paddy Cake that I wanted to try my hand at corned beef. I wish I could say it was half as good as what was atop my white cheddar cakes. But no, just no. The cheese was divine and created this not to heavy blanket over the beef. Somehow the meld of whiskey, mustard and scallions make it like walking on a pathway to heaven. I wanted so deeply to coddle my cake with the care and amusement of a Dane Cook skit. I made special requests to get extra cabbage and I wasn't disappointed with the alteration. Sometimes you find yourself looking at a food truck menu and wonder how much can I tweak this to fit my dietary needs? But I had no issues making this low carb and sharing with my husband. I dare anyone to try St. Paddy's and not love it at their first bite!I will sample more and get my review to have a bit more meat on its bones, lol. I think this beautiful fusion belongs in our metro with vigor. Bring on the heft of the famed Irish potatoes and a hearty stone ground mustard to give an acidic balance to the meal. It will leave you wondering if you have a bit of Irish luck after a visit to St.Paddy's Cakes.

First food truck experience today with these guys at OKC Fairgrounds. These guys have the perfect hook. If you have no idea what you are getting yourself into, picture this.... A hot, thick, potato pancake, topped with smoked brisket, beer cheese, bacon, and stone ground mustard. Yeah, heaven on a hash brown! These guys have hit the nail on the head with being different in the food truck game. My first experience was awesome! Now I wouldn't mind having this one up by my neck of the woods (WI), but then again, I'd probably have a early heart attack from eating there so often! Great job guys!

Giving it 5 stars for the food i had at heard on herd in edmond! Was delicious and thankfully different! Was mouth watering. Had the irish paddy cake! crispy potato cake smothered in cabbage, moist corned beef, mustard, scallions...mmmmmm. I'll head to this food truck first every time!!! Also, i can't believe the prices of most food at these trucks! Way overpriced. But at this one, you get what you pay for, and you can get half orders too. And the food isnt too heavy or greasy which is usually what i look for when im out walking at festivals. I want the taste but dont want to feel too full while im moving about.

Thanks so much for coming to serve at our St Francis Day blessing of the animal service. The potato cakes were unique and tasty. We had the plain cakes with spicy ranch and they were well prepared. We took home the pulled pork cakes with Dr Pepper bbq sauce and they will make an easy to reheat supper tonight. Very disappointed that they didn't have the vegetarian options as I know several of our members are of that persuasion. We discovered that it's their policy not to being drinks to church events so that needs to be made clear to future events like ours ... Thanks. Lucky we had a cabinet full of napkins inside the church (seems they ran outlast night and didn't think to mention it before serving time)

We visited them at bleu garden..it was cold and not so busy but we the owners were super nice and came over and talked to us since we had not been there before. The service was really good and we enjoyed the vegetarian paddy cake and the Irish nachos without bacon. We had the small portions of each split them and really enjoyed them. I would eat here again. Four stars because its not our most favorite meal but we definitely order it again if ran across their food truck.
