We picked the location based on reviews but it was pretty disappointing. The food was average and the service was very slow. We were told there was a 20 minute wait (even though there were multiple empty tables) so we opted to sit at the bar. We split the spicy chicken biscuit. The piece of chicken was pretty small and the breakfast itself was pretty dry and bland. We ordered the French toast to go and had to sit and wait again because there was no syrup or utensils. Wouldn't suggest if you are in hurry since we were there over an hour for a biscuit sandwich and an ice tea.

Their French toast and bloody Mary's are absolutely the best things on the menu in my opinion! The atmosphere is always good and i like they have a bar and regular seating options. They get very busy on the weekends so service can be slow but still amazing staff!

I originally went to Southern Food Company because a Keto blog recommended the black and blu salad, but it turns out they discontinued that item. But I used ChatGPT to scan the menu and find another Keto-friendly option. I ended up getting the stuffed mushrooms. They were presented beautifully! The taste was a little bland. They need to add something with a little punch to make up for the tastelessness of the mushrooms - maybe some regginano cheese and garlic? But I enjoyed it. The price was reasonable, the atmosphere was pleasant in the dining room, the waitstaff were friendly and helpful. I'd go again.

So in town for business and needed a coffee and some breakfast. The place only had a few people eating which had me worried. My server was awesome! She recommended the krab Benedict. Biscuit was perfect. Light and fluffy. Although I suspect imitation crab based on the coloring I saw. The crab cake had really good flavor. Eggs were just like I like them. Over easy. Over all the breakfast was really good and look forward to checking the place out again.

Southern Food Company serves up solid Southern comfort food with a welcoming atmosphere. I ordered the steak and eggs, and it was cooked well--flavorful and satisfying. The portion was good, and the meal felt hearty, just as you'd expect from a place like this. The only downside is that it tends to be pretty busy, so expect a bit of a wait. Overall, a great spot for a classic Southern breakfast!

Dog shit service. Food was good but it took almost 2 hours to get. Only 2 refills of water the whole time. Won't be coming back!

Though a small establishment, they offer an interesting menu and excellent service. Since they opened, they have added a full bar, always a plus in my book, they serve Coca Cola products. The ambiance is what you make of it. Sitting in a booth, one hardly notices there are others dining.

Our 2nd time coming here since we're in the area. We waited about 10 minutes to be seated but it's so, so worth the wait. I had the chicken fried steak & eggs this time. So, so good! & their biscuits are good too! All of the employees that we've come in contact with were so friendly and accommodating. There is a bar however during the day it's a family oriented restaurant. We've not been here in the evening so I can't review about the bar. We love coming here and will always hit it when we come through!

We had a delicious late lunch! The fried green tomatoes were crisp and flavorful. My husband had the fried catfish basket, which I thought was a little too fishy but he enjoyed every bite. The star of his plate was an amazing fluffy biscuit! I had the half sandwich and half salad. The Mad Cow is one of the best sandwiches I have ever eaten, the flavors were blended beautifully !!! The Texarkana salad was fresh and delightful, my avocado was so buttery and the fried chicken was cooked to juicy perfection!!! Our waitress was prompt and friendly - my beer order came out wrong but what she brought was the same brewery and was quite good. The local art in the store gives it tons of personality - I might have to back to buy a flying pig!

Meatloaf was cold, shaped in a flavorless ball, fried chicken had no flavor with a weird sandy crust, Mac and cheese was undercooked and gummy at the same time, weird...queso with ground beef was a yellow flavorless mess, sauced Brussel sprouts were burnt and soggy, French fries over seasoned and hard, salad had overripe red onions and old arugula mix, total disaster.Gorden Ramsey needs to pay a visit.
