I love South Pointe Chevy. Sales don't give high pressure , like you're used to with car sales. Service is totally helpful. They never try to up sell you on more parts and service than you need or want. Their communication in awesome. Always telling you everything going on with your vehicle. And everyone (Sales and Service) is very personable, nice and friendly. That is why, I will always buy my vehicles from Sputh Pointe. Thanks for everything guy.

Follow up on a previous review that I did...our truck has now been there for over 2 weeks. after posting the initial review, we actually spoke with the GM, Derek. He seemed super apologetic and agreed that even if they don't have an update to give, they should still be calling the customer everyday to let them know something. Whether they're still waiting or whatever. We spoke to him 2 or 3 times in a course of I think, 2 days. He offered to pay the deductible since it was ran through the warranty (which it shouldn't have been). And said that the part was overnighted. That's where all of the decent news ends. The next day we heard from the service manager, Chris (the one that is always out of office every time you ask to speak with him). He stated that the extended warranty place sent the incorrect part and that the correct one was on back order with no ETA. And... that's the last we have heard from them. we attempted to call Derek multiple times, attempted to email him, have left him voicemails as well as contact the service department. no answer. no update. as always. We finally got ahold of someone in the service department a little before noon today and the last note he even saw in the system was that the previous part was overnighted. and goes, "it says overnighted, but that was days ago." So he had no idea that a new part was even supposed to be ordered. we have no idea if the new part was even ordered considering everyone who supposedly has the answers is never in office. So now, we have made a payment on a truck we've been able to have in our possession for maybe 2 weeks. And can't obtain the tag for the vehicle that is now overdue because the tag agency has to have the truck physically there. Therefore we are going to be out the fines that are accruing for however long they're going to have the truck. does anyone have any advice? Who do we go to next? What can we do? We are so, beyond done with this place and the way they do service. I can't, not recommend them enough.** Also, the posts from Derek when you post a review are automated and you cant ever leave a message because his voicemail box is always full.

I went in for an oil change which was no charge however i had an issue with the dash saying shift to park upon turning engine off. I was quoted over $488 to fix it saying the parking gear was corroded. I remembered having the same issue earlier this yr taking it to southpoint getting it fixed it stopped happening and only flared up again starting last month. Why IF it was fixed correctly has it started happening again? I messaged southpoint that very question i get crickets. I smell a rat!i seriously doubt this issue was fixed earlier this yr or only fixed to last a few months. Think I'm going to get estimates elsewhere so it will be fixed permanently. Beware!!

This place is an absolute nightmare! My husband dropped his work truck off almost 2 weeks ago, it's been broken into, damaged and the work on the truck hasn't even been finished! The work that needs done is warranty work after something they had previously fixed failed! Every time we call we get the run around and no answers. I highly recommend taking your vehicle somewhere else, actually anywhere else!!!

WARNING: Please steer clear of this dealership. This dealership is not only blatantly biased but also very discriminatory towards their customers. The sales manager lied about the terms and conditions to certain customers. When my friend went in with the same scenario, she was treated differently and given privileges based on her skin color.This isn't my first bad experience with this dealership. The last time, I was sold a lemon, and this time I feel like I was sold a lie. I warned my spouse that it was a bad idea to go back, but now we understand the lesson: never use this terrible dealership. Please share this information with your friends and family! Had my new car's (bought elsewhere) first oil change this morning. I am thoroughly impressed with the friendly professional service from the gal that made the appointment over the phone to Chandler Sheaffer (service advisor). I was treated like a valued respected customer! I was personally led to the main dealership to get a cup of coffee before they opened due to the customer lounge coffee machine on the blitz. Unfortunately, I do not know this gentleman's name. My car took less time than initially stated. The customer lounge had donuts, coffee, charging station, and comfortable seating. I would like to recommend a remodel though. This is in no way a negative. It is still great! South Point Chevrolet is now my go-to dealership/service. THANK YOU SOUTH POINT!

I made a deal on a truck that was in transit. excellent credit and all was good. Wait 3 weeks for it to arrive. It was finally about to arrive and they call me and say oh by the way We added $10,000 for market adjustment. I would not recommend doing business with these people. no integrity and their word means nothing.

brought my car in and was there for two weeks and was getting frustrated and called to know the progress on It was told I'd be called back and an hour and a half goes by and still no call I call again and I'm left on hold for 27 minutes. I call again and asked for the service manager and get sent straight to voicemail. The phone didn't even ring like I was hung up on then once I go to pick up my car I'm having to wait over an hour because they lost my keys. Overall horrible experience and will not be going back.

You know that a dealership is a terribly run business when the general manager will not respond to any of your phone calls. I found his number by looking at terrible reviews on this place. I will never recommend a Stealership who will not honor a simple fix that I am probably going to have to pay for. It's going to be hot this week, my air conditioner still does not work properly ,my wife is in fact pregnant and has to drive this car that we bought. I can honestly see this place going out of business soon. There is a gentleman who posted that he wouldn't buy a bag of chips from this place. I can honestly say that there is in fact a place now that I wouldn't even buy a bag of chips from as well. I feel bad for everyone who has been fooled by this disgusting excuse for a dealership. Watch yourself and don't put yourself in the same position that we are in right now. Don't take your kid here to buy their first vehicle. Don't try and have that special bonding moment with your wife and try to buy her the nicest vehicle you have ever been able to finally afford. This place is just absolutely terrible. The sales and the service side are poorly managed. I am a better manager at my job and I've had a good chunk of my brain cut out due to freaking cancer man. I still know how to do a proper job and treat people with love and respect. This place isn't worth anybodies time. It's supposed to be hot this week. I can't wait to be reminded of why I will never set foot on this dealerships lot again if I can help it. Sorry about not posting this sooner. I thought that this was going to be made right and that I wouldn't be doing this review, but here we are...Update!!!My car has been half ass fixed. Don't worry South Pointe. Even though Mike Wolfe, Derek Ellis, and Buddy sure know how to run a business into the ground. The only one who I can give any credit to is Frankie Love. He reeled us in and sold us on the car. Literally the only one who did their job right was him.

We bought a used car for our growing family early March 2023. Frankie was our sales man and was very professional. However, AS we are signing paperwork and had agreed on a price and all we were informed the speakers did not work and that we would have to purchase a new radio out of our pocket (approx $200) to fix this issue. Mind you, they did not take any money off the vehicle for this issue and we paid over market value. Anywho. We felt blindsided but agreed and continued with the deal. When we got home we found out water was leaking into the cargo area in the trunk about 8 inches and had submerged the amplifier and subwoofer for the radio power. So the "speaker issue" was not a $200 fix. It would be more like $2000 MINIMUM for us to fix this. We called Mike the next day and explained the situation and was informed that he would fix the leak issue ONLY if it was a "cheap fix" but they would not under any circumstances fix the amplifier if they did fix the leak. We told him we felt they were deceptive and didn't inform us of the truth about the vehicle just to get a sale and we spoke about returning the vehicle he laughed at my husband on the phone and proceeded to tell him he was "making an ass out of himself". Which, my husband was very angry due to the situation, but as someone who represents this company and is the sales MANAGER, speaks volumes about the company on its own.This company either didn't inspect the vehicle properly before selling it OR they lied about what was wrong with it while overcharging for a vehicle that has issues that they now refuse to fix. I sent a text to the sales manager, Mike, asking when we would be able to bring the van in to get the leak looked at and never heard a response. The vehicle has a few other issues as well like the button to open the trunk doesn't work and the driver side window doesn't roll up properly. Which we should have made sure to check everything I guess that could be on us. But the fact that they didn't disclose any of that information is really shady, unprofessional, and deceptive. I do not, will not, and never will recommend buying from this company and I will make sure everyone I know doesn't go here either. This was the worst and most stressful car buying experience I have ever had.
