Cord hung up on eye. SMITH will not fix nor refund my money. Lost a decade long customer. Go elsewhere for honest service.

Paid $70 for a mower repair not done correctly. Will not fix it even if I offer to pay and won't refund my money. Lost a decade long shopper, not an honest dealer. Still have no working mower after dealing with this for a week, grass keeps growing. Thanks for leaving me hung out to dry Smith!

Took out Honda mower for service. Got to admit I was scared of the end price because everything is so expensive these days. Fill tune up and clean up came well under $200 and they're the best staff, nicest people. Seem to really care about your tools, equipment. We will continue coming here so thanks for a great service and community family owned business.

I must have been thinking it was 2019 when America was great, businesses were staffed and functioning with efficiency......The diaphragm in carburetor on my Shindaiwa edger failed and the whole carburetor had to be replaced. It is an easy job; I have replaced it myself before. I thought this time I'd just drop it at Smith's let them do it and pick it up on Friday. I can hear the laughter......With the edger in hand, I entered the "Enter Here for Service" door, explained what I wanted to the friendly guy on duty and asked when I could get it back. 4 weeks from today! 4 freaking weeks.....from today. That won't work. I asked if they have the carb in stock along with the fuel lines and filters. Now this is the service guy, not the parts guy. He said, let me look on my computer. It looks like we may have it. He had written down the model and serial number from the edger on a post-it note. Here he said, take this to the parts counter. How do I get to the parts counter from here? He said, follow me.... Good service here!Three parts guys on duty, everyone busy, but things were moving fast. A short wait. Handed the note to the parts guy and he is on it like an anxious, nervous, bird dog just let out of the truck at the first hunt of the season. Parts in a sack after a painful hit to the credit card, and I am out the door.....Friendly, efficient, service at the parts counter.I purchased a Shindaiwa trimer and edger back in 2015. The service at the time was good and the parts guys are fantastic. They always save the day!

I absolutely love their selection of mowers and handheld tools.They even have climbing gear and a few other options. The value of their equipment is phenomenal and if you buy local you get a great service department as well!!!

My husband called over the weekend to get the pricing and part number of a solenoid for our mower. He happily gave us the pricing but absolutely refused to give us the part number. He stated that if he gave us the part number we would shop around for better pricing. Ummm....yes....who doesn't want to be sure that they are paying a fair price? After a few more phone calls, not only did we get the part number but the pricing was over $200 cheaper. Seriously??? No, thank you. Never again will I shop here. Price gouging at it's best.

Worst fucking place to go I would not recommend w anybody in the would to go here not even my enemies this place has the worst customer service I have ever seen I bought what was supposed to be a brand new mower from smiths then a week or two later the lawn mower wouldn't start I brought it to them and they tried to scam me saying it would take 10 weeks to even get looked at then proceeded to tell me it would take hundreds of dollars to fix and on top of that the day I brought it home it was leaking oil this buisness is also highly racist they racially profile everyone I will never see you guys again and I hope no one else gets scammed like I did. Wish I had the option to give zero stars.

I have gotten horrible customer service at Smith's Farm and Garden for the last time. And to hear Chris Stump (manager) call me a lier to my face ended what I have considered friendship that had lasted for more than 20 years.I think someone forgot to remind Chris that he is not the only show in town. It was great while it lasted. I fully realize that Smith Farm and Garden has all the business they could ever want but good customer service never goes out of style.

My father and I have been purchasing mowers and related equipment from SF&G for decades. We always get professional, courteous and knowledgeable service. If you are serious about the equipment you buy, you simply can't get the same quality at a big box store. Support local small business or one day we won't have any good options left.

Service was absolutely the worst. Old men with horrible manners work the parts counter. Keep copies of your receipts ALWAYS. I've only ever made one other review on yelp, because I like to give the benefit of the doubt, someone just may be having a bad day. But it wasn't that simple, both guys behind the parts counter were rude as could be. No apologies when they realized their mistake. Instead they turn the blame on me, "if I'd have known what I was talking about" they'd have found the part easier.Hey Smith Farm & Garden: want good reviews? Hire people with manners and people skills.
