Sidecar Barley & Wine Bar

I don't want to make this review. Sidecar is such a fantastic bar that I don't want it to become popular. But this is the best wine/cocktail lounge in all of South Tulsa. The staff, drinks, and bar food are all excellent! The rooftop patio is our favorite spot in Jenks. We love to get a cocktail and hang out around the fire. This is my new go-to in South Tulsa.

We were here for early cocktails and the place was deserted. Service was great and we were greeted immediately with waters being delivered to the table. One of our party asked for a virgin Cruel Summer and somehow the bartender pulled it off. Not sure how that was done without the infused vodka but it tasted great!We also ordered the Wedding Crasher (non-virgin) and it was great. I was a bit worried about the "rose infused spirits" but it was very, very subtle. I would order it again. To round out our cocktail hour, our third ordered a Seabreeze. It was a LOT more grapefruit juice than cranberry but it was still refreshing. (I mean it didn't have a hint of cranberry color in it.)We also munched on the hummus. I loved that it was on a smear of chipotle. The pita triangles that came with it were soft and delicious. I would order it again. Bartenders changed while we were there and the new guy checked on us a couple of times but was a bit hard to find (but we also weren't ordering any more drinks.) I would definitely make it back in to enjoy the upper deck and try more on the menu.

Great atmosphere and bar tenders. Enough seating to enjoy a game at the bar or sit on the patio and chat. The spinach dip is amazing!

Been back a couple times and while they had a little bit of a rough start, they have killed it last several times I've been. Drinks have been great, food is good, and staff have been exceptional!

The pineapple drink was good. The scorched cheesecake was great! The ambiance was fun, live band was great!Our waitress, Jocelyn was very helpful! We will be back!

A few months back, I reviewed the Tulsa location after multiple bad experiences. However, I recently discovered the secondary location so I decided to give it a shot. Same. Dreadful. Experience. Check out my other review for more details but summarized: 1. Terrible service (I was one of 4-6 patrons during my duration. 20+ minutes between drinks) 2. Overpriced (I understand competitive pricing, but they are higher than average)I really do not understand why the staff is so rude, slow, and make every (albeit minimal) interaction uncomfortable and unwelcome.

Went for the first time last night. I had read some reviews before and I can agree that the live music was just WAY too loud for the size of the place. The music was excellent but it made it incredibly difficult for converse with the people I was with. Cool drink concoctions, decent prices, good apps. What I did not like was the doushy attitude of the ginger-esq bar tender with black framed glasses. Not only was his attitude poor, he charged my credit card twice and I never signed a thing.

Great place to hang and get drinks. We go for quick drinks during the week and or to hang w friends during the weekend. They could keep it a bit cleaner but it's a bar.

New to Tulsa and just wanted to check things out since it's across the street from my house so I hopped in solo on a Tuesday night. Bartender who was African American and with braids acted like he was put out just to take my drink order and acting super snobby. I felt extremely unwelcome...the wine I ordered was about 3 ounces, seriously one inch of wine...not sure if that's how they serve it, if they were low on wine or if it was meant to make me leave as I was already feeling like I was not welcome. Maybe he felt I was not worth the trouble since I was one person. Either way it wasn't good.After plopping they wine down with nothing but a sour look I suddenly was feeling self conscious about myself and stupid for being there. It doesn't take any effort to say: "Hi welcome in" and "Enjoy your wine, let me know if you need anything .."Got the feeling I wasn't wanted so left. Too bad..I would have been a fantastic regular customer since it's across from my house but won't be back. Bad vibes all around. And just to check yourself Sidecar Barley..this is JENKS OKLAHOMA . Give me a break with the snobbery.

I love this place! There really isn't anything else like this in Jenks, we don't really have any other "cocktail" bars. That being said, they are definitely setting the standard here, every cocktail I've tried has been delightful! I haven't tried much of the food, but the hummus and chicken caprese sandwich are amazing, I have even ordered them for pick-up several times. The bartenders are welcoming and professional, but personable, as a bartender should be! I have brought friends here and we always have such a great time. The overall vibe is great with the fire pit, music selection, and garage doors that open up when the weather is pleasant! The hidden gem of Jenks!
