Shawanoe Restaurant & Bar

So we chose the Shawanoe restaurant at Indigo Sky over going to River Bend because they had a filet on the menu. Found out later that River Bend does have a seasonal menu with a filet currently. Mostly disappointed with the ambiance here. The actual flooring, walls and fireplace could easily make this place a little fancier but the booths and tables look straight out of a Country Kitchen. Our waitress was super friendly - fast service too. Iced tea was on point. I ordered the filet medium and while it was good it was slightly overcooked on the outside and dry. Baked potato and salad were both good. Husband ordered a cheeseburger and it looked to be the frozen variety. Prices were great. $50 for our meal (someone shared a 15% off voucher with us that saved us some additional money off that) Next time I think we'd drive the 9 miles further to try River Bend.

The nachos are amazing so is the cobb salad. It's not horribly expensive n it's great quality. The severs are great also. It's a beautiful romantic setting also.

Shaman or is an excellent place for a nice sit down meal. The food is great, as is the atmosphere. We were served by Allie and she was extremely nice and helpful. She promptly served us and gave us a great take on what to order. We went with the shrimp shooters for our appetizer and I had an old fashioned, while my significant other had and excellent cocktail called "Purple Skyy." We had delicious top sirloin steaks, the flavor was quite robust. To cap off the night we had the fried cheesecake... FANTASTIC! Definitely a split desert as it is quite rich. Overall an excellent meal, at not too bad of a price. We will definitely be returning.

Burger had no seasoning but fries were good. Wait time minimal but our waitress never smiled once. Just average.

Tiniest toughest wings ever. They were expensive and tasteless.The cob salad was better.

That was the longest I have waited for a truly awful meal. We had the prime rib and nothing about it was good. The service was awful as well. What started out as a celebratory birthday dinner ended with crackers and a candy bar from the gift shop.

The first night in the restaurant served up an incredible all-you-can-eat King Crab feast. While we didn't order it, the giant plates of king crab passed by our table many times. I ordered the KC Strip steak, which was honestly not the best cut I've experienced.

Stopped by on our way back from Creation Safari as there are not a lot of choices in Seneca. Food was tremendous with the prices being very reasonable. It is located in a casino but whatever I just went to the restaurant. Our server did an excellent job as well.

We've stayed and had breakfasts before. They used to have a buffet that was superb but Covid ended that and it's now cook to order. The food is normally ok to pretty good but yesterday, June 1 it was not. Cold food, I ordered eggs over medium and got scrambled. The bacon was not the quality of the past at all and was virtually burned. No jelly on the table. No creamer. Had to ask for those. Over the past 1 year the food has taken a definite dive. BTW, our waitress was very attentive. She could not make the food tolerable. The restaurant at 8:45 a.m. was cold enough to hang meat. Many people were complaining. This foodservice establishment needs attention or new management.

The spicy chicken sandwich wasn't good. It had a bad smell to it! I wouldn't recommend this to anyone.
