Sharky's on Brookside

Beware going here. They charge you extra to "make sure you have money in your account" it apparently gets returned, which has yet to be seen. I'm trying to understand the logic of making sure someone has money in their account by charging them extra... not only did we get the "find out if you have money" fee once we got the fee twice equaling $100 on top of the tab....The bar should really alert people of this prior to running their cards. Luckily I'm not pinching pennies to make payments on bills, thinking I'm only spending $70 when $100 gets added onto that which will allegedly be returned at some unknown date. This is totally unacceptable and I have never heard or seen of any other establishment practicing this.

The bartenders were great but the other people walking around were so incredibly rude. First they told me my ID was fake, it's not, I'm 22. They gave me a bitchy look when I told them it wasn't fake but they let me in anyway. Then a drunk woman walked by and ran into a table knocking all of our drinks on the floor, the worker walked by and said "ya just watch it spill. Real mature, fucking bitch ass children." Didn't spill anything, happened within 2 seconds. Happy fucking new year!

Sharky's is a traditional pool hall with a bar. It was clean and the tables were in good shape. One point that was that no table had a bridge for shooting long shots.The ambiance was ok for an individual but not a family. While we were there, there were a large noisy group of drunk shooters in corner. Parking available was limited and would not accommodate a full capacity crowd.The experience was acceptable for a bar with pool tables but not for families.

my daughter dropped her wallet in the bathroom. she called the next day and they said that they had it and she would be invoiced for damages to get it back. I am her father and we went to the bar and spoke with the bartender who said he was the manager and that the wallet wasn't there. I have it on video that he would not tell us what was damaged, then he said it was a seat in the bathroom, which he later stated that he didn't say although I have it on video. I call the police and they got her wallet back. BEWARE THIS BAR, THEY WILL SCAM YOU!!

I'm giving this a high rating because of how management handled a group of men that were sexually harassing my friends and I. Thank you Perry and the man working the door for getting those guys to leave us alone. They handled and de-escalated situation accordingly. They even got my friend a new drink after one of the guys started drinking from it. A place is telling with how they handle obnoxious guys and they did well. Which is why I am giving them this rating.All in all, this is a nice pool bar to grab a drink, shoot some pool and hang out with your friends! Ladies, stay safe and look out for each other! This place is one of the few nightlife hangouts that values the safety of their women patrons!

We had a ball. My two friends and I played on Sunday night. We are seniors and weren't the usual crowd. It didn't matter a bit! We felt completely welcomed. It's clean, friendly and thebeer is great. I highly recommend this friendly Brookside pool hall!

I always have a great time at Sharkey's. A fun place to play pool, foosball, ping pong and so much more. There is a bar in the front and a bar in the back where the darts are. Shuffleboard too!

Waited 30 minutes for a drink and bar tenders were rude and drunk. Finally ordered our drink and it was wrong. Some random girl knocked over a table with drinks on it by our friend group and the bar tender cussed us out because she thought it was us. Never been so disrespected by a bartender. Weak pours for the price. Terrible service and overpriced drinks.

Bartender poured me the wrong whiskey and he proceeded to have an attitude with me after I politely said hey that's not what I ordered. I recommend going to the back bar. Bartenders at the back bar were way more friendly and didn't give me hell about asking for Pepsi instead of coke with my crown.

last night I was denied entry because I had my service animal with me. I am a protected individual under the ADA act " Americans with disability Act. It was very hot last night and I came into the Bar for a drink and for some water for my Service animal. I am a TBI victim, shaken baby syndrome , abused until I was 11 years old. My service animal detects Anxiety attacks and keeps them from happening she is also used for my PTSD. this buisness violated my rights as a Disabled individual.
