Loved the outdoor patio! This place is kinda hidden behind some hotels, but that was convenient for me. The menu is large, so plan some time to make your choice. We started with the fried pickles which were just fantastic. Really light and crispy batter not overly seasoned or salty. My lunch was the smoked chicken salad, which was absolutely huge. I could only eat about half of my lunch. If I was staying in the area and was hungry for barbecue, I would definitely come back

We had 2 different experiences. The first? 5-star bbq, and we are from Texas. The second? 3-star. I mentioned this to my boss at work and he recommended another place. Bottom line is that this place has potential but it must be consistent.

If you're into reheated semi warm BBQ with people at the bar listening to news on a IPad, then this is the place.

I got a combo meal, the brisket was pretty dry, the sausage was pretty good, the ribs were marginal at best. The service was pretty good. For the price I paid, I would not go back again

Visited on a snowy evening. Quickly seated and order taken soon after. Good selection of beer. Ordered food, and it arrived in under 20 minutes. The fried okra was good, and they used a different type of breading. The loaded potatoes were very good. The bbq was favorable, and the pickled onions added a nice touch. Overall good experience and would return.

My last review should be 4 stars but for whatever reason Yelp keeps keeping 5! Ha! Good bbq spot though. Just needs work on updating the old tables, etc and speedier food delivery. Overall, great meal and we'll keep visiting.

My first time trying and should have tried BBQ, since that is their brand. I love catfish and always looking for a new place, so did that. I won't say it was bad, but, it was just okay. It was little fingers and you got plenty. The hushpuppies were undercooked and raw in center and not something I will order again. The two sides did not meet my hopes. The baked beans, not what I would order again, they were almost good, but needed to have a little sugar for this southern girl. The loaded baked potato was chopped potatoes with cheese, bacon and something that made it funky to taste, not sure what it was, but they have created their own version of loaded bp and it is not mine. I did not finish the sides or the hushpuppies and am not left with any desire to return. I paid 19.00 plus tip for some catfish with not so good tarter sauce.

Service was a 5. Waitress was perfectly attentive and very sweet. Ordered pulled pork sandwich with corn and salad as sides. Salad came out quick and was good. Dressing was very good. Unfortunately the salad was the bright spot of the meal. Meal came out fast but corn was literally COLD and mostly cream almost no actual corn. Pulled pork was terribly dry and maybe room temp. Have had the same thing happen there multiple times. If you just want to go drink and watch a game it is fine, but this is not a restaurant. Attn: Sassy's: So you can address it with whoever was working the kitchen, this visit was evening of 1/24.

If I could give Sassy's zero stars, I would. My experience was hands-down the worst I've ever had at a BBQ restaurant.First off, the service was atrocious. It took forever for anyone to even acknowledge us after we sat down, and when they finally did, it was with the enthusiasm of someone being forced to work against their will. It only went downhill from there. The wait for our food was excruciating, and when it finally arrived--ice cold. Who serves BBQ that's cold? Not only was it late, but it was clear it had been sitting out for a while before it even reached us.As if that wasn't enough, the wait staff barely checked on us, and when we managed to flag someone down to address the temperature of our food, all we got were excuses: "Oh, we're just really slammed right now," or "Our kitchen staff is short-staffed today." No apologies, no attempt to make it right. Just an overabundance of flimsy excuses as if that should make up for it.The kicker? When we finally voiced our disappointment, hoping for at least a sincere apology, we got a dismissive, "Well, we'll try to do better next time." No thanks, Sassy's. There will be no next time. Save your money and find a BBQ joint that actually respects its customers' time and taste buds.

In very small print under the dessert section it says they charge an additional 3% per menu item you use a card. The waitress wasn't even aware and had to ask the manager when I asked about it. It would have been $10 more. This should be in bigger font or made more clear to everyone. Luckily I had cash. Prices are not that much higher than this should be a practice. Their prices are already elevated. The issue I had was it was not clear when you sit down. The food was good but not worth the prices and surprise additional amounts if you use a card.
