San Miguel Mexican Grill & Bar

The atmosphere was nice but it was VERY cold inside, so much so the help had on their coats. I order the breakfast taco..... it was fair, the cheese was kinda gross on the inside. I am not sure if it was American or Cheddar but it stuck to my teeth. Also the taco or burrito was HUGE, I brought almost 3/4's of it home with me. I ate a little bit but my Dogs got the most of it. The eggs were already way overcooked and by the time you re-heat them they were hard scrambled. I asked that they be soft scrambled. The bacon had GREAT flavor and I did appreciate the whole wheat tortilla. Others at the table really liked their food. I would say it's a MUST try and then you can decide if it's your place for Mexican Food.

Salsa made in house. Food was awesome. Staff is incredible. Came in on a whim and really enjoyed this. Hard to please the wife but she really enjoyed it. Had the Enchilada Supreme and she had Stephen's Bites. Very good.

Amazing atmosphere, great service when I always go, and delicious food. I always order my favorite the California Burrito and it comes out perfectly every time. Also really good Chips and Salsa.

Listen if your looking for great Mexican food and a nice bar you gotta stop here. They have great salsa and the chips are always nice and hot. If your looking for fajitas or tacos this place knows what there doing. Very good waitresses and great cold beer don't get any better. They have a great lunch menu as well

On July 22, 2024, I had a very shocking and terrible experience at San Miguel. I have been a fan of this restaurant for many years. The Stuffed Avocados are my favorite!! I was excited to introduce a friend and my son to this place, as we live in a different town, so I don't get go as often as I'd like. The first disappointment was they don't have a light eaters menu for smaller portions, like many other places do. Then, my friend ordered the spinach enchiladas, and it came loaded with mushrooms, which was not included in the description, and she cannot stand mushrooms. Fortunately, they replaced it with mushroom-free spinach enchiladas. The problem comes in with I ordered a chicken quesadilla a la carte. The waitress did not clarify they don't have that, and ran the ticket as the dinner. So, they charged us $12.95 for chicken, cheese, and bread. When I went to check-out, I tried to discuss the charge and what I ordered. The guy said they didn't have an a la carte quesadilla, only the dinner, and "if you choose to not get the lettuce, tomatoes, guacamole, sour cream, and everything, that's your choice." I said "every Mexican restaurant I've been to has an a la carte quesadilla". He said, "that doesn't mean we have to fall into their box." Then I suggested they at least charge me for the kid's quesadilla meal. He said "that's only for kids". I had said something about $13 for that was ridiculous, especially when I ordered it as a la carte, and we just wouldn't be back then. He went off about "if you went to McDonald's and order a burger without a bun, they'd still charge you the full price and you'd pay it without asking for a discount." And, I think he went on saying something about it would be the same for any other restaurant if you don't get the sides, you'd still pay for it. I say "I think", because I kept "I understand that, but...", and he'd interrupt me to continue going off on this, so I didn't catch everything he was saying. I was so shocked that he was arguing with me like that. I've never had this kind of experience. So, I finally told him "you know, you shouldn't be arguing with me about this like this. This is very poor customer service." And, he continued with his previous argument, and I said "I understand, but...". He actually said, "you keep saying you understand, but I don't think you do." WHAT?! Well, he never let me finish a sentence! And, to his McDonald's argument, or other restaurants, we can order off the Kids Menu without discretion!! We can order smaller meals or the a la carte items we want. I've never been treated like that. When he handed me my ticket to sign, there wasn't a pen on the counter, so I held out my hand for a pen, and he walked off!! So, I took ALL my tickets, and didn't leave one behind for him to fill in however he wanted, because clearly he could not be trusted. I am absolutely disgusted at this horrific customer service - all because he didn't want to reduce the cost by $5 - 7?? They had a handful of customers during the dinner hours. I don't think they could afford to lose current or future customers (because of people I work with and plans we had of visiting), but I guess he thought they could.

I have been going there for years. Over the last several months, service has gone so downhill Very disappointing. The last 4 to 5 times I've been there, we have waited for over 20 minutes for a simple request of corn tortillas. Over priced and poor service. Sadly, I will not be back.

Went in was seated immediately and given chips and salsa, salsa was made with canned tomatoes which not real salsa to us. Then we sat for 20 minutes with no one coming to take our order or bring water. We left a $5 bill for chips and left. They've lost our patronage.

Food was great I don't like beef in my burrito but it was still really good service was awesome our waitress was checking up with us a lot and it was awesome

We tried it in September and wont' be back. When we walked in, I noticed right away that the restaurant had a musty smell. We shared a chicken fajita plate for two people. It was the most disappointing fajita plate we got. The chicken only came with fried onions and no other vegetables (it might have mentioned it in the menu, but we didn't notice it). The portion really was the amount for one person. They brought a second plate with some rice, beans, pico and a little lettuce and very little sour cream and guacamole. The chicken tasted okay, but was overdone. All in all a big disappointment. We would have been much better off ordering two separate meals (well maybe). We paid $40.00 (only drinking water), which was way too much for what we got.

Been here several times and always great food. Never have had any issues with food or service. Just a great place to enjoy fresh Mexican food. Today I ordered the chicken chimichanga. My wife ordered her favorite fried avocado stuffed with chicken plate. The food is always fresh and comes to the table quickly. The owner always greets you and makes you feel welcome! Just a great place!
