San Marcos Mexican Restaurant

Walked in on a Saturday evening and only had a 5 minute wait. YO ITS CROWDED. Hyped me up because a lot of people = bomb af food. Waitress was friendly. She was hella quick and looked slammed trying to please 3 new tables at once. Ordered 1 appetizer and 3 entrees. Frozen margarita was STRONG. She didn't ask me which flavor I wanted and walked off after I said I wanted a frozen margarita... so I think I had lime? Thank goodness I can take it to go! Michelada wasn't on the menu but you can still order it. My mom said the drink was good... she finished it! Botana de Cameron was alright. Potato didn't have flavor and shrimp was also bland. I'd prob wouldn't order again. Enchilatrada consisted of 1 chicken, 1 beef, and 1 cheese enchilada with rice & beans. Nothing too wow, typical.Ceviche was like ground shrimp? Didn't have flavor.Overall I wouldn't come back unless it was just for drinks. Their food was bland, I've had better Mexican food but the vibe was great. Plays music and it was busy! Def cool to people watch

The service was amazing and the food was incredible. The owners make the atmosphere just so amazing.!!!!! You guys need to come to San Marcos if you want an authentic home cooked meal at restaurant prices. Everything was delicious thank you so much.

Real mex food and great atmosphere go there all the time also great margaritas sometimes a bit busy but well worth it

This is a very good Mexican Restaurant. The fresh chips, salsa and queso served with the meals, are very good. The staff are very attentive and courteous. The menu consist of many traditional Mexican dishes, but also consist of many unique dishes. All the entrees we ordered were delicious and had enormous portions. This is a great Mexican Restaurant.

Great food and service is top notch! You can't much better than that. We will be back many times.

The absolute best food and service you can find in OKC and surrounding metro! Will drive 30 minutes to eat there.

I got the enchilada dinner. The tortillas seem to be steamed instead of baked. I didn't care for the flavour of enchiladas, the rice, the beans, nor the sour cream sauce. Service was very good though.

San Marcos is the place to go for great Mexican food and Drinks. The Delora family is like family to us.Great food great people and great service.

One of the best Mexican restaurants I have been to. Ordered barbacoa street tacos - were great. You can substitute fried mexican potatoes and corn for the rice and beans ($1.29 more). They were good and nice to have something other than rice and beans. Margarita was great too. Although busy (Friday night) we only had to wait about 5 minutes for a seating for 2. Great service.

San Marcos food is fantastic. I've eaten here several times and plan to keep coming. No special recommendation, everything tastes outstanding.
