Our Yorkie Puppy LOVES SAHO. He gets excited to see the animals and the staff! They give him excellent medical care & when we leave him for boarding he seems to like going & comes home content. It can get pricey, but they say you get what you pay for, and we've only had good experiences!

On Sunday I had to put my cat down. It was one of the most difficult decisions I've made. I wish the process was more relaxing as my cat went into panic mode sitting in the car. This was quite frustrating. We asked for her to be put on oxygen because she was out of breathe from panicking. I don't even know if they ever gave her that before she was put down. All we wanted was for her to be comfy in her last moments.Secondly, the vet was not empathetic and insincere. We felt rushed and she referred to my cat as a him and gave us generic unempathetic comments like "oh this really sucks"... she met her 3 times... Saho use to be awesome with knowledgeable vets. Now, everything feels rushed, not personable and the vet does not explain anything well. She also never called back about the "research" she was looking into about felv for my other cat. The only professional one in the process was the person who gave us options for my cats body arrangementsLastly, Everything seemed so disorganized there. At a previous appt the vet popped in to ask if we were the people with the rabbits... they also had the wrong info in the system for my cat. The only positive about this place is that they open 7days a week. Either than that, I'd avoid from now on.

My Samoyed needed emergency care during a recent family visit. Since it was a major holiday, a surgeon was not available until after the weekend. Although the surgery to fix the pyometra technically could have waited, Dr. Denny took the time to call three different 24/7 emergency vets to confirm availability and also obtained price quotes from each location. I took my fur baby to the 24/7 vet that Dr. Denny recommended and the surgery was successfully performed that afternoon. Dr. Denny went above and beyond to help a brand new client in an unfamiliar city. She prioritized the health of my Samoyed instead of her own pocketbook. That says a great deal about the integrity of this vet! As an added bonus, Dr. Denny called a few days later to check on my fur baby even though the surgery had been performed at a different location! I will definitely keep the contact info for this vet in my phone just in case I need emergency services during any future visits! I highly recommend this vet and I am extremely thankful to Dr. Denny for helping to save my fur baby!!!

I took my puppy there for doggy daycare and she ended up contracting a waterborne parasite from their pool. Apparently this has happened to others and SAHO has been informed of it but do nothing to correct it. I should send them my medication treatment bill that was over $100. We will not be going back.

I wish there was a way to give zero stars. In 2017 we took our Maine Coon cat there to be groomed. I specified that this cat does not respond well to Lion Cuts (as they had suggested), and we just wanted her bathed and trimmed. At pickup time they delivered to me a shaved cat - they did the Lion Cut, anyway! Since then our cats get beautiful care at Feline Specialties. Several weeks ago one of our cats had an ear hematoma & needed surgery right away. The drive to SAHO was quicker so I raced her there where they performed the surgery. Not only did they destroy our cat's ear but the doctor also reported in a sing-songy happy voice that they'd had to remove one of her claws that "got hung up in her carrier". (how poorly must they handle the cats forcthat to happen?!) We are convinced that this particular Vet Service despises cats and we will never make the mistake again of walking in that door. Some cruelty is going on.

I saw a dog in the middle of a very busy street . Thinking I would save the dog from getting hit . I loaded the dog up and went to the vet since I had no more time, I was supposed to at my grand daughter's second birthday. The vet said they could not keep it I said can u call animal patrol to come get it. I couldNot bring it to my house due to my 2 dogs would have killed it! So I just left the dog there! Well guess what they called the cops on me because I just left the dog there. I didn't want to see the dog get hit so now I have the Owasso Police writing a report be I just left the dog there. Really!!

I really like SAHO. Love the way they treat my fur babies. Love that they get in the floor with the babies. Our Boston Terrier cut his leg open and he let them sew it up without having to use anesthesia. He really trusts them. My only complaint is the expense. Wish they offered discounts to Senior citizens.

I'm disappointed in their evaluation of our corgi for the dog park area. The trainer/tech said "she bared her teeth" at another small dog during evaluation. This is the friendliest dog out there & has been around many other dogs, including strange ones & she has NEVER bared her teeth. Having a background in the veterinary field, my assessment is their trainer/tech was overly anxious or aggressive with her handling of our dog & caused the issue, not the other way around. I feel SAHO is great for veterinary services, but my vote is out for the rest of it. This is not the first time I have had issues with the way their technicians have acted. It's disappointing & I've left hospitals for less than this.

Unprofessional, frankly, rude. This vet office not only ignores scientific evidence, but they advocate euthanasia for a condition that is 90% treatable with proper medication and timely intervention. Refusal to consult others despite legally binding contracts.Their lack of scientific reasoning ability, refusal to consult cutting edge research and peer-reviewed resources, as well as their laissez-faire attitude toward animals cost my baby her life. Supportive care, insufficient bloodwork and labs for proper diagnosis, and lack of bedside manner make this vet (multiple there) atrocious. Beware, lest they kill your animal too. RIP sweet girl; your untimely demise was ill-deserved and I hope your rainbow crossing went smoothly. Highly, highly do not recommend.
