Saffron Mediterranean Cuisine

Mediterranean cuisine is one of my favorites, and this is absolutely the best I've ever had (I've had a *lot*).The location is so unassuming in a small older strip mall. They've really done so much with it, the ambience was more upscale than I expected. I felt underdressed in my athletic clothes (we came after an athletic event), but it was between meal times so not many people were there. The service was attentive and professional but still personable. This would be great for a nice quiet dinner out. Very relaxing vibe. The food is astoundingly good. I'm confident that anything you try will be great, but we especially enjoyed the hummus, herb soup, skewer platter, veggie platter, cabbage rolls, and rose cake. Everything is so authentically fresh and packed with flavor. Best dolma and tahini sauce *ever* - the value of what you get here is a steal. This will be in our regular rotation of restaurants when we are in town. Well done.

One of our favorite locally owned spots in Tulsa. The food is excellent every time. We absolutely love the shirazi as a starter. The pita bread that comes with it is the thinner variety. For lunch I usually get the chicken kabob platter, which comes with their amazing rice and a small salad. Perfect amount of food. The gyros are also very good. For something special, the fesenjoon (walnut stew with chicken and pomegranate) is delightful. And the zereshk polo is my absolute favorite thing on the menu, unless she is doing her special stuffed peppers (off menu special and the best I've ever had). Service is friendly. The restaurant itself is not fancy but it's quiet and the music selection ( often jazz) adds to the ambience. Definitely worth a visit!

This place is amazing. I am pleased to have found a new favorite. Can't wait to try all their menu options.

Came here a bit after 7 and it was empty since they close at 8pm.The service was friendly and prompt.Had the zereshk polo entree, which was good. The chicken was super tender, but I do wish there was more chicken for the price. The rice with the babery and nuts were delicious as well.Wife had the gyro sandwich and chicken soup. The sandwich was good.Overall, decent spot and I would recommend trying.

Service was good, but there's not much ambiance, and the food was just okay. The falafel were dry, the lentil soup didn't have much flavor, and the Hummus was runny and didn't have much flavor either. The babaganoush and dolma were good.

This place is legit! We were craving some Mediterranean and found Saffron. This place was awesome. We started with an order of hummus and baba ganoush. Both very yummy and great sized portions. For my entree o ordered the Saffron 3-meat combo with gyro, chicken and the ground beef. Very flavorful and again, good sized portion. There is a good chance we will be back in tje coming days.

We've been wanting to try this place for a long time because we love Mediterranean food. We were not disappointed!The food is authentic and delicious. The portions are huge and we had enough to take home for another meal.We had the Saffron combo with chicken, gyro, and ground beef. All were well prepared, came with delicious sides, and had good sauces. Tabouli and Tatziki were wonderful.The service was very good and the place has a nice ambiance. The manager spoke with us and asked a few questions about our impression of the place.We will definitely return and we will tell our friends about this nice place.

The food is delicious. We weren't disappointed with anything that we ordered. The service was also exceptional! 10/10 recommend.

Very disappointed in the service. We hosted a birthday party and once food was delivered, we never saw servers again. No water refills, no options for anything extra, nothing. Then we were forced to pay a 20% gratuity on each ticket because of being a large group when the service was below par. I was only given ONE glass of water. I voiced my complaint but was told with large parties the assistant usually helps and they automatically charge gratuity. Maybe you need a new assistant? Only save was the food was great.

I was very excited we landed at this restaurant when we searched for a locally owned Mediterranean restaurant. Most seem to serve on you on styrofoam dishes but not here!! The ambiance was nice, clean & comfortable. The service was excellent, but the food was the best! We also ordered the lamb shank! We will be back!
