This is an awful service. The driver was rude. They charged me more than double for a trip from the airport to my house. The guy on the phone yelled at me and hung up when I tried to dispute the overcharge. The cabbie even hid his meter from me during the ride. This business needs to be criminally charged for fraud.

I have never in my life been charged 8 dollars extra for having baggage and a second person with me.Instead of using Uber, who quoted me 22 for the trip to PostOak, I decided to just use a taxi. After all, how expensive could a taxi be if Uber said it was 22 dollars?$45. 45 Dollars is how much I spent on a cab ride.At the time I thought it was an Oklahoma thing that they had to charge for any luggage and any person beyond the first.It isn't.Others in our party with a different cab driver spent 30 with tip.Suffice it to say, I asked my dad to drive us back to the airport and we squished four of us and luggage in to make it work.Nuh unh and never again. Uber, I'm so sorry I doubted you.

Taxi was overpriced, and I called the driver out on it, and he claimed it was my bags. He charged me more for my bags than the airline did. I wanted a receipt and was never given one for the astronomical charge I received. The fare amount was not noted in the cab at all, and no meter was seen to be running either.TAKE ONE OF THESE TAXIS AT YOUR OWN RISK!!! They are a scam! Get an Uber or a Lyft before you take one of these.

If I could leave zero stars I would.... charged me $25 for a 2.8 mile taxi ride from Tulsa Airport to hotel. Uber was under $10! No meter in car so no idea why was charged so much... stay away from this service ...dishonest and overcharges...poor business practices!

Needed a ride from the airport to home in Broken Arrow. Fare was $32.40. I gave the driver a $100 bill. He said he couldn't make change, so I said I'll pay by credit card which he the told me he can't do that either. I suggested he could take me to a convenient store next to my neighborhood where I could get change. When we got back to the house, he said the fare is now $44.40. unbelievable. I give him $60 and he says he only has $6 in change to give me back. So I end up giving him $54 for a $32.40 fare. I'll never use Royal Taxi again. What's interesting is that driver was lamenting the entire time about his lack of fares.

The shuttle from the nearby airport hotel (.3 miles) never showed up. We tried twice to take the Royal Taxi at the head of the line, but he wouldn't take us. I know its a very short fare, but he still has to take us. When I pointed this out, he said it would be $22. My husband was so angry we ended up walking in the dark, with our suitcases. I didn't even think until later about how dangerous that could be.I just looked up the Tulsa airport taxi guidelines, and the minimum fare is $10. Royal Taxi should be banned from the airport. I'll be complaining directly to the airport tomorrow. This is really offensive and outrageous.

As an update to the below - the manager has agreed to mail me $40. If I indeed receive a refund, my faith in this business will be restored. I would give a zero if I could. Arrived to Tulsa and my phone was low on battery, so instead of going with an Uber, I grabbed a cab. When I got in the car and provided the name of the hotel and address, the driver didn't seem to recognize the Marriott Tulsa Central and was unwilling to use google maps to locate the hotel. He instead called the hotel to ask for any notable landmarks nearby. Approaching the hotel, I did a quick google-maps search to discover that this was NOT my hotel. When I notified the cab driver, he tried to convince me that I could stay at this hotel instead, and then accused me of giving him the wrong phone number. I called the same phone number I gave him, and they told me the same address I had originally provided, which he did not go to. He then took me to the correct hotel, however with no visible meter, told me the bill was $40 to go 8 miles with no traffic at 11pm at night. He additionally got angry when I told him I did not have cash even though the cab had a sticker indicated foursquare was available (and of course charged to run the credit card, fine). On the royal taxi website, a fare estimator which would suggest $0.40 cents for every half mile and a $2 flag drop. At $0.80 a mile, an 8 mile trip would be $8.40 with the $2 flag drop, and $10.40 with the credit card charge. Alternatively, the website suggests multiplying the miles by 2 and adding a $2 flag drop, which would result in an $18 charge (confused by the math on these, but regardless the ride should have cost approximately $20). I also asked the hotel receptionist her estimate to the airport and she confirmed $20. When I called to file a complain, I was told I would receive a call back, which I sure did. I received an aggressive, harassing call from the cab driver that opened with, "What's your problem?" He then went on to accuse me of being unappreciative, asking me what I wanted from him, telling me that the $40 was actually HALF of what I should have paid, as the ride would have cost him $80 (where is this math coming from??????). I am really disappointed that this is the way in which management handles complaints. I rarely write yelp reviews, but I am so infuriated that management gave the driver my phone number and allowed him to call and verbally harass me rather than properly addressing the issue. Spread the word - DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE!
