I so agree w the positive reviews. The grouch review should have stuck w Home Depot; they're built on polished concrete--no creaky boards underfoot! The Rose family was a stalwart one in the community. In my experiences I could go there, count on solid advice, timely service & a fascinating atmosphere of "walking down memory lane." If they were unable to provide what I needed, I could count on sound advice as to where else to search. Always remember: If you're looking for a "Mickey D," don't go to Outback! That's 5 STARS!

Don't let the trendy Blue Dome District location fool you. This is a dirty, smelly pawn shop with little more than rusted tools and old VHS tapes.

I second the first reviewer's take on this abysmal excuse for a pawn shop. The building looks cool but this place is basically a garbage receptacle. Everything is a mess and disorganized beyond the display cases. Nothing of interest even to vintage collectors, save for the few cool items that are all "Not For Sale" according to the staff. No one cares you are there, or at least they certainly haven't cared the few times I've tried to stop in. Pass on this spot. There are plenty of other pawn shops in town to search for treasure in.

This is not a pawn shop, it's a scrap yard for dusty dirty things you couldn't give away at a garage sale for fee!

I've known the owner since I was born 46 yrs, My Parents even longer 64 years... My Family and I have purchased many awesome things in this Pawn Shop store, including a $26,000 Wedding Ring, an Old British Shotgun worth $50,000, and many other expensive and valuable items. The Owner and Manager of this store is an Attorney and has been working here with His Parents since He graduated college. He is the nicest, sweetest, kindest, most generous person ever, he thinks everything out and answers your questions the best way he can....so I simply don't understand the one star reviews. The building was built in the 1920's its nearly 100 years old, so its not brand new, if anything it is a Historical Building and should be preserved...
