The Short Rib Barbacoa tacos were really good. The tacos come in twos, this one was PACKED with meat. The chipotle bbq sauce was incredible (anything chipotle, let alone bbq is almost an automatic pick) & I couldn't get enough of it. The slaw piles high & once I took a bite, it got messy, a good messy. I LOVE cotija & there was plenty of it. The tacos come with chips & salsa verde and just like everything else, the salsa verde was good. It taste different than the usual ones I'm used too, I should've asked for more. Our server was nice (I wish I remembered his name). He has also covering a majority of the tables at the time along with another server covering other areas. The wait on the food wasn't long, there were a few couples & groups of people there at the time. Overall enjoyed it.

This fun and funky little cantina is conveniently located across the street from the BOK center. The bartender was efficient, friendly made some great recommendations. Three of us went with the frozen margaritas with a sangria swirl. She gave us a sample so we could "try before we bought" and it was a hit. Watch out though, their drinks do pack a punch. We had the generously portioned chip and dip trio to start and we all loved the guacamole best closely followed by the queso. Next, I had tacos that filled me up in time to walk across the street to a concert at the bok center. Rosa cantina was packed, but they were smart and efficient by doing a curated limited menu on event nights to make everything go smoothly for appreciative clientele.

Love the decor and vibe of this place! We started off with the queso. When it came out and I noticed the chips were totinos, I had a feeling the queso wouldn't be great and I was right. The queso had pretty much no taste. Didn't taste like cheese at all. I was bummed. I love a good chips and queso! The asada tacos were just ok. The pickled onions were the best part of the taco. The short rib barbacoa tacos were the best out of the two. I don't even like slaw but this slaw on those tacos were so good! I could eat the slaw by itself. The verde salsa was a great addition to the tacos as well. Tacos come with the same totinos chips. I wish it had a different side. The place was cute but the food was average.

We have visited Rosa's twice in the last week, because yes, it's just that good. I truly think they might have the best queso in Tulsa. We have ordered it plain and with chorizo on top, and both were stellar with the perfect consistency. Their chorizo fries were also insane. I would highly recommend getting - the sauce on top was fantastic! Between Grant and I, we have tried four different tacos. My two favorites were the citrus shrimp and the barbacoa. Each order comes with two tacos and a side of chips and salsa verde. Price range $12-$14. I personally liked their salsa that comes with their guacamole better than the salsa verde, but both were good! Their guac was also really yummy with a strong lime and jalepeno flavor.

The adobada tacos were wonderful. I came looking for a burrito which they don't offer but the tacos are legit. Quick service and a friendly atmosphere. Give them a try!

The service was good. Staff was friendly and the food and drinks were good. The flautas were good. Very cheesy. A little too cheesy for me and not enough meat. The queso was good, a little thick, I think it would have been perfect if it was a little warmer. The guacamole was good. I didn't care for the salsa at all. The chips were nice a crispy. My old fashioned was delicious as well. It was a great stop before we headed to the comedy show. Check them out.

I'm so glad this concept moved into where MixCo used to be. It's so different and they use the space in a unique way. First off, I'm in love with the shade of pink they use for their branding. The space itself is so bright and the natural light that comes in from the windows is very nice. It does have a more casual vibe and their menu seems simple but it has blown me away. Their queso is delicious! We added esquites (corn) to it and I highly recommend it. Their ceviche is also really good. It has pineapple and coconut cream. Very refreshing! The tacos are decently sized. The order comes with two and fresh chips & salsa. If you're not too hungry, you'll definitely take one taco to go. The chicken tinga and the citrus grilled shrimp tacos are amazing. They have a slightly different brunch menu during the weekends. Their yogurt parfait is very good as well as the fried shrimp and smoked chorizo tacos. You can choose to have a fried egg on the side during brunch. When it comes to the drinks, they have a great selection of margaritas, tequilas and mezcal. If you're looking for a non alcoholic drink, they carry Bison Social terp tonics, which I'm a huge fan of. The blood orange flavor is my favorite. For dessert, order their sopapillas! Super crunchy on the outside but fluffy on the inside. As far as service, everyone was super nice and welcoming. They're pretty new so they're still trying to figure it out but overall it was good. Great place to stop by!

I mean the only thing they got going for them is the $5 marg. Otherwise they're charging $14 for chips and dip in styrofoam cups. That include typical salsa Queso and guac. There about enough chips for two people. Everything screams cheap at a high cost. They charge two tacos for $14 and if look in the kitchen they're using Costco bulk mission like tortillas. Farthest from authentic. I hate to bring someone down but I felt like I was getting bamboozled. Do better. $5 was solid. Kitchen is dirty as hell when you walk by from the bathroom. Place won't last long unless the see what others are doing or somehow make their bar scene better for alcohol sales. No shame hope they can pivot and make it more of a bar. Only option.

Rosa was recommended by some friends so we had to give it a try! On Sundays they have a brunch menu with a variety of items. We shared the chorizo nachos, the breakfast burrito, and the warm cinnamon sopapillas with fresh berries. All of the food was delicious and the servings were plentiful! We are going to try some of their tacos when we make it back in to Rosa's.
