I'm not here to bash anyone. I'm merely here to speak of my experience. To start, our waitress was extremely nice, but very inattentive. We were NEVER asked for a refill of our drinks during our visit and our first basket of bread rolls were over cooked and crunchy. Without saying a word, she brought us a second basket of rolls that were clearly not overcooked, but very doughy/undercooked, but still edible. The bread itself wasn't bad, but not Italian. Just simply basic dinner rolls with basic flavor. It surely wasn't garlic bread that you would expect to have at an Italian restaurant. The salad before dinner was also nothing to brag about. Just a choppy head of lettuce with a thinly sliced tomato slice, sprinkled with mozzarella cheese and topped with ranch. No color and very bland. For our main dish, we ordered the pasta combo! We were pretty excited because we read it was a large medley and the price was higher than the other options of pasta, so we thought it was a good choice. The medley was lasagna, manicotti, spinach ravioli, tortellini, and baked ziti! When our dish arrived, you can imagine our surprise when the portion size was that of a small meal. The lasagna had NO meat and one lasagna noodle on top smaller than half a lasagna noodle with melted cheese underneath it. No layers to it whatsoever. Once I found the spinach ravioli, it was one ravioli that was green from pureed "something", but it wasn't spinach. And if it was, it was mush, like artichoke and spinach dip squeezed in the middle of pasta. I've always experienced cooked spinach in the middle....not baby food. The tortellini and baked ziti is not fresh and it was obvious. I never did find the manicotti. But, that wasn't even the worst part! The most uninviting part was dining with friends and other patrons while someone went up and down the isle with a vacuum 3 different times as we were eating! That, to me, is unacceptable while eating out at a restaurant! We were there before 5:30 pm so it wasn't like they were trying to close. Let's finish off with this....Our table consisted of 2 couples, a total of 4 of us, and she brought us one ticket! Didn't even ask if we were on the same ticket or not, which we weren't. Both my husband and I, and the other couple, ordered the exact same meal, but our tickets (and it's not a big deal AT ALL) were slightly different by a penny. Yes! A measly penny! My customer receipt and the business receipt was off by a penny on the taxes, which, again, is NOT a big deal. Example: Customer receipt said tax was $2.37 but the business copy said $2.38.Before someone thinks we may have ordered different drinks that changed the price...... we didn't. Both us and our friends ordered 2 waters and 2 teas, along with the same dinner plate. All in all, the food was edible. It's exactly the same thing I could've made at home with ragu, but I would've had layered lasagna with some meat for way less...and cheaper. Way over priced, even though the prices aren't bad, for mediocre food and a medley pasta portion made for a toddler.I hope your business does well in the future and I hope all the criticism helps you build a better clientele! All the best!

First time here with my husband. Family atmosphere. Garlic rolls were delicious and we asked for olive oil to dip our bread (charged us $6.50). Our meal comes with salads too. You have to try their Cezar salad. It tasted really good! The portion was huge! The food was delicious. I had the chicken Florentine and my husband had a baked ziti with grilled chicken. We both agreed that our food was good. Only complaint we have is that the service was a little slow. Other than that, we will come back to this place. For two, our meal came to about $55.

Finally, Shawnee has a nice Italian restaurant. Roma recently opened in the old branding iron steak location. Shawnee has needed a decent Italian restaurant. Out came the bread rolls. Fresh, hot, & tasty. Some of the best rolls in the metro area. Next were salads. A nice selection of greens, tomatoes, artichoke, peppers, onions, olives, & dressings. One of our party ordered the pasta sampler with lasagna, manicotti, & spinach cheese Ravioli. It received good marks. The chicken parmesan spaghetti was just an "Ok" with the comment that the spaghetti sauce was a bit too sweet. The baked ziti got a huge thumbs up. The chicken Alfredo was declared very good. One of our younger group decided that spaghetti would be just the thing only to reject it over the sweet sauce. Finally, an appetizer of fried mozzarella cheese sticks was passed around with mixed reviews. They still are working out the kinks. An example is there were nine tables in our section of the dining room, but we had to share a single oil & vinegar tray among all the tables. It was inconvenient, to say the least. We are ready to try it again once all the kinks have been worked out.

I'm glad we have this new restaurant in Shawnee. I've eaten there twice and both meals were very good. I've tried two of the shrimp dishes, in both instances the shrimp were large and plentiful and the pasta perfectly al dente and the sauces tasty. The service was prompt and friendly and the restaurant is clean & inviting. I'd recommend it to anyone who asks.

Food was 'okay' nothing special. Service was on the slow side. Ambiance was like a Mall restaurant. Not sure we'll go back.

I was with a group of 18 the other night. Our service was great, and everyone was very pleased with their food. We were in a private dining room just inside the front door. Everything was clean and new looking. My one pet peeve is that one server put everyone on his side of the table all on one ticket. You have to go to the register, tell them what you had and pay there. You never get your own check. The lady who served the other side of the table did give individual checks. We all prefer individual checks. All one check is the way they handled it at the Seminole location. I don't care for that. Otherwise, everything else was very good.
