We visited Rodeo Cinema last week for a free viewing of a PBS documentary - "Bedlam"The theatre was great! The seats were nice and comfy, the concessions were your typical movie theatre fare - popcorn, candy, soda- that was modestly priced, and the staff was great! They answered all of our questions and were cool to talk to. We will definitely keep this place on our radar in the future for a decently priced date night.

Went to the audience participation showing of Princess Bride. What a fun experience. My only complaint, the concession. It moved so slowly the movie had to be started late to accommodate them. I'm sure they just didn't expect such a large crowd. Everyone was super nice and accommodating.

It is a fun experience to see movies here! While I've mostly been for special events/screenings it is truly unique compared to other traditional theaters. They have films that you won't see at other places and local beer at the concession stand. The seats are comfy as well. If you're looking for a date night that's a little out of the box when it comes to movie theaters, you'll really like it here.

This was a fun experience....sorta. Rodeo Cinema on Film Row is a quaint little movie theater with huge plush arm chairs that you can lounge in while enjoying a movie with friends, family, or by yourself. That is mainly why I opted to give it a try. I didn't even know it existed until a friend was raving about her cute date night there. There are also traditional movie seats as well but we got there early to snag up a comfy chair. The place was barren on a Saturday night and I very quickly realized why. The reason I give it 3 stars is the fact that you absolutely do not want to go there on the weekend. This place has very little sound proofing and there is a bar in the same building. Needless to say, most of Long Legs was paired with drunk Karaoke. If you're going to go, weekdays will probably be better. We most likely will not be going back.

This is the cutest little theatre I have been to, and the staff was so friendly! They serve beer and wine as well.

I've been twice to this location so far -- once for a sold out screening of The Room with Greg Sestero and once for a Monday night screening of a movie where I was the only person in the theater... and both were great. The seats are soooo nice and comfy. Ticket prices are solid. The concession stand has a good selection even though I've never bought anything. Their email list is really good for keeping up with movies and showtimes. They show a diverse amount of stuff. I really respect the showings they've been doing recently with live music accompaniment. I hope to attend one soon.

I can't believe I just found out about this. The film curation is genius. I love that it's right in the center of Stockyards City - so charming. I actually hope more people discover this, so places like this stick around. It's really well maintained and the staff is great to chat with : )

I attended a premiere of a short film put on by Douglas and my alma mater, NW Classen high school students in the cinema program. It was black. This place was a cute, small, personal, theater. We had a good time oh yeah, the chairs were comfy, my only complaint is that the popcorn was cold. They would not pop fresh popcorn until all the old was gone. Even when I asked for some hot, fresh popcorn, this was explained to me. Cold popcorn is not good. That's my only complaint. I enjoyed myself over all!

Our first and probably last trip here.Very cool, authentic small theater vibe. Not for profit, and they host a lot of cool events including the one we went to. The biggest reason for 3/5 stars instead of anything higher was two fold. First, the manager was ushering everyone through the concession stand instead of letting us just go to our seats. We had never been here so we assumed that's also where they checked in tickets or something. Nope, I guess it was just a way to get people to buy stuff. Secondly, I am glad we didn't buy anything as we were killing roaches the entire time we were there. I know this is an older building, and again non profit... but gross!! Please get some pest control ASAP!

What a wonderful theater! Rodeo Cinema is not only beautiful inside and out, it has great seating (lot's of leg room), very cool movies that you won't see anywhere else and is overall a homerun! Check out this theater in the Stockyards. You'll be glad you did. The Stockyards "experience" coupled by this wonderful non-profit movie theater is what makes OKC so great! As a non-profit, it deserves our support.Fresh popcorn with FREE flavored sprinkles! Come on! Who doesn't like that??? Head on over before the movie you want to see is gone.
