River Grille

I live in downtown Bentonville and have been to River Grille for Happy Hour more than I can count. I've had a few special occasion dinners here as well and everything has always been perfect. Most recently, my boyfriend and I made reservations for their Valentines Weekend special. They gave out roses as we were being seated (incredible touch) and the vibe was perfect! They had a limited menu, but the server/bartender was very knowledge, attentive, and personable. We both ordered steaks- I did the ribeye and he got the NY strip and we were both very impressed. The drinks, salads, and food were all 10/10.

AMAZING!! Everything was so good and steak was cooked perfectly. It had a crispy top coat, soft in the middle, and amazing flavor. Lindsey was our server and she was fantastic. We loved her! Ambiance is great in the bar area for watching a game or catching up with friends. We tried the mousse for dessert and it was one for the most delicious dessert I've ever had. We will definitely be back.

Amazing steak, I got the new york strip and it was one of the best steaks I have ever had. I also really loved the meatballs. Great ambiance, definitely a place for a special occasion. Service was very attentive and friendly. I would love to come back one day.

An unassuming steakhouse on the outside. On the inside, you will find a gem of a restaurant. I was in town for business and stayed in the hotel next door. I ventured over for lunch and ordered a burger and fries. Found out the burger is made from the the trimmings from the in-house, aged steaks. Great burger and enough for me to come back the next evening to try their dinner menu. My dinner experience was fantastic. My server was courteous, extremely knowledgeable about the menu, and provided great service. I had an app (cant remember the name but it was a stuffed pepper), ribeye cooked medium-rare, creamed spinach, mac and cheese and a glass of red wine for dinner. All were beyond expectations. I finished my meal with an espresso and a white chocolate cheesecake offering.I loved everything about the experience. Easily a restaurant i will frequent every time I am in the area!

My husband & I had a date night here. The food was absolutely delicious. The bread was amazing. Our waiter packed us a loaf of bread to-go (so sweet.) Another waiter gave us a recommendation of a cognac that paired perfectly with our dessert. The reason for the 4 stars is the bar staff. They were not attentive nor welcoming. The bartender couldn't be bothered for another drink. She was not friendly at all. We almost did not have dinner there.

Excellent white table cloth restaurant in Bentonville. Great steak, fish and sides and service was good but not invasive. Pace of our meal was a little slow but the food was worth the wait.

Wow!Came here for our 32nd Anniversary and the food and service was amazing . First I want to thank my financial advisor for having a seminar here and letting us experience this place for the first time about 6 months ago.I have lived here for 8 years and had never been here. I was impressed then and super impressed with our dinner tonight!For appetizer we had the Bacon wrapped sweet peppers , totally recommend these! I think the dates were purified and stirred into the cream cheese, I don't know , but they were amazing!I ordered the Steak TournedosServed on truffle potato crostini with grilled asparagus, finished with gorgonzola demi-glaceOMG, I cant wait to come back and order again!Absolutely delicious.Hubby ordered the halibut special. He enjoyed it.We also ordered a serving of the cream corn with poblano peppers. Very tasty , filling and and delicious.It was out anniversary so we received a dessert on the house. We chose chocolate cheesecake, it was very light , more like a mousse, but very tasty.Our waiter Adam was very attentive. We throughly enjoy our experience tonight!!

I mean this place can't be beat when it comes to amazing service and steak! My wife & I come here when I really want to go have a great steak without having to cook it myself. We had the Chesapeake Bay Crab Cakes to start off with. We shared the bone in ribeye, perfectly cooked medium rare, with a baked potato as our side. To finish, we shared a crème brûlée. This place is always top notch. If you are truly looking for that fine dining experience, you should definitely give River Grille a try.

Had a phenomenal dinner here last night I won't soon forget. Last minute decision to re-route a party of 7 business dinner from Conifer to here given a recommendation by a colleague who described River Grille's reputation. He steered us correctly; this was indeed the best decision we could have made.I love steak and there has been plenty of it recently given work-related travel, including Vegas last week. But...even the steaks there (triple the price) did not compare to my experience at River Grille. My filet was impeccable, as was the rest of the meal. James provided flawless service and was a delight to have at our table. From start to finish, wine to dessert...let's just say this was one of the most memorable meals I've had in quite some time. Bring a date, business partners, loved ones, whoever. You can't go wrong here for an upscale but comfortable experience.

I have loved River Grille for 25 years now. The food is always great. I love the atmosphere in the bar and dining side. My favorite is the bar side though. Steak is top notch. I could make a meal out of the whipped potatoes and asparagus, wait I have, many times. Most servers been there for a while, which I like because they take pride in knowing your favorites. If you're looking for great food, great atmosphere, excellent service and favor eating at an establishment that is not "chain" please try River Grille. You won't be disappointed (if by some chance you were just say something they'll fix it). Rene'
